That is what I thought I had read, but it had been so long that I wasn't sure any more. I've kinda felt like Jade will eventually come to the PC given enough time lapse. I think there are to many people want it, it would bring in even more money, and why not when their contract with X-Box expires. It looks rather interesting to me. One that is a little different and might be fun to try. Shan I did play the X-Box demo for Jade. As far as the combat does, the controls actually played decent and was easy to pick-up and play on th control pad. I still think I'd prefer a KB/mouse support, if a PC version comes along.

I've never played a game without k/mouse support. I wouldn't know what to do without it. Shan

I need my KB/mouse support.
I really didn't care much for Fable's XB controls. I have played the demo.

Tragic, I've heard of Bard's Tale. In fact I had a friend in college that had played the really old Bard's Tale. Count me in as another friend who's played that game. It was pretty cool... for the time (I was only 11 years old or so! )

The first one sounded pretty cool from what my friend told me. I'd like to know more about the new one. Just haven't taken the time to check it out. Shan

It was a very involved game, and you never knew when you would run into charactersthat you could include into your party. It was a lot of fun. I still personally preferred Might & Magic II: Gates to Terra, which I was also playing at the same time, but I was having fun either way

Actually none, because I need a new PC for that. That's why I'm currently so "Retro".

I have seen a demo for what is - I THINK - the new Bard's Tale. It looks like it would have been state of the art 10 years ago, and I really wasn't impressed at all.

The new Bard's tale ist very action oriented, I hear, and doesn't come close to the old one. some even say they have NO things in common, except the name.

The old Bard's Tale wasn't exactly impressive in the graphics department either, even back then.

It would be different to have a rgp which isnt so much hack/slash...maybe one whom solves mysteries and occasionally gets into scraps etc..if the new bards tale isnt much action oreineted i might go for it.
It would make a refreshing change.

Will bought Bard's Tale a few days ago, for like $18. Haven't taken a look at it yet, but his brother played it and said it was enjoyable.
We've been playing Fable, slowly, not much time to. Though I take that back. Will has played it a lot - leveling up the character, but he made sure not to advance the story. So we're like almost completely leveled to the max and only in the second chapter. I almost feel it's useless to play the game, but he disagrees with me - there's still the story of the game, just the leveling up is almost complete. Magic in the game is ridiculously expensive.
He also got Jade Empire, but haven't had a chance to look at it.
Will's been playing the first ./Hack game with one of his friends. Said it's very good. He showed it to me the other day and it did look cool. It's a online multiplayer world without being one. What I mean is, it's a one person game, but the world of the game is that of an online multiplayer game. And it's done very well.
But I'm a bit off topic. This is for games coming out soon.... Well, I don't know of much that's coming out soon, but the second NWN interests me. Don't know anything about it, but I'd be curious to get it when it comes out.

Fable: The Lost Chapters is due for the X-Box and PC very soon -- in The Winter, w/ "1/3 extra content". Mainly, a bunch of stuff they didn't finish are here, such as new emotes, dragons, new quests, and a brothel. Fable: The Lost chapters is coming at a reduced price, too -- well, at least the XB version is, at $20 retail. I'm waiting for a PC port to be announced. Likely will be, as Bioware was asked on a PC port for Jade, and they said, "I can't say, but don't rule it out" -- just like they said w/ KOTOR getting a PC port, and it eventually did. I want to play this game, also. Little is known on the game's story, but it will deal w/ the city of Neverwinter, again.

I wonder if Will knows about the new Fables content. I'll have to ask him. I'm sure he'll enjoy the brothel. ^_~
And I made a mistake. It wasn't Jade Enpire he got, though I wish he would, but Romance of the Three Kingdoms X. He's really been enjoying the series, he has almost all the previous ones. Anyone here ever play any of them?
