Go into your control panel. Then go into the Device Manager. Select the device you are upgrading the drivers for. Right click on the device, and select 'Update Drivers'. It should then find your new drivers and automatically install them for you. That should do it

If you are running an nVidia or Radon then you should just need to run the setup.exe in the directory that you unzipped the files to though, (and you can't just do the update drivers bit either)

Lol....i have finallly realised why i cant play one particular game.....not becuase i cant download drivers but becuase...my video card is 32mb and this particular game is 64mb. Actually, it really depends on if the game company supports your specific card for their game, more than anything. I have a 128 GeForce 6600 GT in my rig -- and I must say, this PCI-E card is awesome. I would recommend you purchase something in the GeForce 6xxx series range. I don't know if they have it for the original PCI style slots -- but I do know they have it in PCI-E and I believe there is an AGP version. Definitely worth finding out if they have one in PCI. Though, w/ the 256 MB GeForce 7800 GTX coming out soon, which will retail for a good $600, you can bet that card's release, as usual, will drop the prices on the other GF cards -- such as the GF 6xxx series stuff. I'm not a big ATI fan -- their drivers just break games' functionality w/ every release, from what I read on their issues in release notes every time for the drivers.

Why did you go PCI over AGP? Is PCI better? Shan

Why did you go PCI over AGP? Is PCI better? Shan Not PCI, but PCI-Express. PCI-E is faster than PCI and AGP. I have a PCI-E 16x slot, BTW. And at stores, I'm seeing more retail stores selling less PCI and AGP slots put in computers. PCI-E is the new wavelength for video cards.

Oops, sorry, PCI-Express. Now you know why I need you around, to keep me straight on all this stuff. ;D Does it fit in the PCI slot or are motherboards being made with special slots for them? Shan

Mysterd:
Your right i mean beyond diviniy needs a 64mb card and yet my card is 32mb and i have finished the game.
I havent bought one yet...the thing is im looking...rather optimistically for a 128mb pci card for around £100.
Tell me is the slot different for the pci express different from the normal pci one??
