Certainly wasting no time...
At this rate, the DLC will ultimately cost more than the full game. This is the second DLC in, what, one month? Two?
I'm starting to think I should wait a couple of years for the complete edition...

Bingo! If you can resist the "must play now" urge, waiting is always best to get a more complete/less buggy game.

Maybe we should name this thread the "Whining about DLC" thread, as honestly thats what it seems to be.
Its a great game, I haven't bought the DLC, so meh, its no skin off my teeth.

I'm starting to think I should wait a couple of years for the complete edition... This'll be number FOUR. Dragon Armor (free), Stone Prisoner (free), Warden's Keep ($7.00), and now Return to Ostagar ($4.99).

FOUR?!? Ye gods! I'm really starting to feel like I wouldn't be buying a complete game...

Terror - it's not the DLC, it's the way they're doing it. DLC done right is a good thing, IMO, as it kind of balances the line between a patch and a full expansion pack. You don't NEED it and probably won't miss it if you don't have it, but it's a great option for those who are keen.
What is less good is the flood approach they seem to be going for here, complete with in-game advertising and new DLC roughly every fortnight. As they intend to be putting out DLC for DA for the next couple of YEARS, at least, this would seem to be less than promising.

Other than the fact its an amazing game.
Actually there is ONE thing that bugs me.
This game punishes you for not picking a Rogue I find. Rogues are the only ones who can pick locked chests, and there are dozens early game, yet with no Rogue in your party, many in locations you can't get back to. Thats the part I find irritating.

This really shouldn't even be in the game. This guy shouldn't even be allowed to be spoken to.

Well, I finally got this one. Played through the mage origin story, and am just getting going in Ostagar. This is shaping up to be great.

So I finally bought this game, with my PC down and a new PS3 I bought the PS3 version...I am thinking I will have to sell the PS3 version if for no other reason than you can only have 6 skills/spells on short cuts...
This is exceedingly annoying because it forces you to stop the game every few seconds in combat to use the right skills...very frustrating.
On a side note, when my party was in Lothering Morrigan and the rogue girl got into a discussion, the rogue kept talking about getting Morrigan into different lowcut dresses...and then at the end starts talking about shoes, "we could go shopping together!"
I shot the tea I was drinking all over my basement...that may be the single most hysterical thing I have ever heard in a game.

Has anyone built a mage with the melee specialization?
Just wondering if its worth the time to build one...
I would probably take spirit healer as the other...
Oh and on that note, how the hell do I use my spec points?

Mage specialized in melee turns you into a bad fighter. It's a waste of time, really. In order to use your specialization points you need to have unlocked the speciality path you want to buy. And since shape changing (you can't cast or maintain any other spells) and the warrior specialization is useless blood mage and spirit healer is pretty much the only way to go. You don't have to invest points into the skill trees, and you still get bonuses you your main attributes. Personally I'm playing as a bow character (rogue-ranger). Since I only gain half damage from dex and half from strength I don't do all that much damage. Apart from that the skills all have a really long casting time... Übereil
