Highlight for Clue: The fan can be up there for a turn without blowing the bubbles away. You don’t have to wait for the bubbles before putting up the fan.Tsel

Start the story something like -
Once upon a time a brave adventurer was walking down the road towards the village of...
That should help you a bit.

That should help you a bit. yes, going to the sorcerer in the forest, having the sword, money, going to the castle, picking the boat, going to the island picking up a bomb (?), climbing the tower, pick up the golden armour, kill the blue monster, going to the mountain with a coin/blue egg (lol?) and end up being killed by the dragon!! the fate of my soldier let me know if you know a solution

Both puzzles are about the number of times each item CAN level up The second one actually makes sense, the first is a guessing game, as near as I can tell Which means I beat the second, but got bored with the first, yes

they are not just about that elliot, they are also about items that need to be around at a certian point in another items development e.g. the bubbles from the pipe need to go after you have placed the hill but before the fan is working properly, and the rain won't stop until the sun comes out...

Well, I've now had a good look at all three of the 'grow' puzzles, and... finished number two. I think the logic is different on that one than the others

nope, it isn't, it's just that it's more story based even with the help of the sorcerer of the forest, the boat trip and all...i end up being killed by the dragon's fire (that kills/steals 3 life points...). so i'm out of possibilities, lol regards
