to everyone
since the Godfather's days to the LOTR...it seems triology's are being a commercial, but also a storytelling narrative to present/developpe other worlds or the daily life reality that touch us.
so...which is your top3 triology?!

Lord of the Rings: Two Towers had some problems (some avoidable, some not), but it was otherwise an excellent adaptation of a classic series. Star Wars: And just to be clear, I mean primarily the original trilogy, though Episode 3 is good enough to deserve a spot here. There isn't a series like this one, even today. Indiana Jones: Because Raiders and Last Crusade are two of my favorite action films, even if Temple of Doom did nothing for me. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

My three favorite trilogys:
Star Wars saga: Yep both trilogys are here as I was one of the people who grew up with the Special editions and the prequels only having seen the originals on TV when I was 6 or 7 I think, the SE are the only ones I remember.
Evil Dead trilogy: Bruce Campbell is the MAN. I'll always watch these movies when they're on TV, yet to buy the DVD's though.
Will one day be added:
Kill Bill trilogy: I pray to god Tarintino keeps to his plans and decides to do KB vol. 3. I would sell my soul and the souls of my future wife and our children to see Kill Bill vol. 3 in 10-15 years. Yes I love the first two that much.
Almost there:
Godfather- I really only like the first one so the trilogy doesn't go up here.
Matrix- Same as Godfather except the "sequels" are jokes.

LOTR is the obvious top, for me, with the original Star Wars trilogy second. SW would make top, except for the stupid teddy bears thsa drag the third film down. As for third... well, that's easy! The Dollars trilogy, starring Clint Eastwood ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I know it has never been filmed, but my favorite trilogy of any kind is Issac Assimov's "Foundation" trilogy. Foundation, Foundation and Empire, and Second Foundation....sure wish they could make it into a movie... ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Starwars (Ep 4 - 6), Not those silly new ones (Sorry SPS). ;D LOTR, Although a mammoth watch back to back worth it everytime. P.J. did us all proud proving a decent Book to film adaptation can work if done correctly. Dollars, Have to agree with EK here guys great movies the lot of them. I liked the back to the future movies, just not good enough overall to make the top 3. As for the Matrix great first movie, as for the rest what need i say? Loved the alien movies but as they are no longer a trilogy i take it they don't count ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Three colours: red, white & blue. Kieslawski. interesting choice...i really loved the red and blue movies, but the white one is very shallow compared with the others. But of course they work also together as a one and only body work. did you saw the "doudle life of veronica" (don't know if it's the correct title)?! i loved it... regards

the dollars shouldn't be trilogy, if u count Unforgiven in as well. ;D A day late and a "Dollar" short, but it was a trilogy. A Fistful of Dollars, A Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad, and The ugly....or vice versa... ;D

You should not ask me that, but: Lotr (duh!) and can I count in the Harry Potter movies too? Allthough they aren't what you call top acting class, but I like the magic and the story ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) did I already mention LOTR ? ;D
