It sounds like a great show but I hold my judgement till I see the show. I wonder will they eventual become 'suits' or just do the hero thing in street clothes.

Loved Hero's. I thought it was a very good series start and I hope it keeps getting better. Loved all of the characters especially the Japanese Hero named Hiro. He was a funny guy.

I thought it was cool. The characters were intresting and were diffrent but all looking for something. I love how all the characters stories seem to over lap. I can't wait for the next episode. NBC made a webcomic to help flesh out the characters back story: www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/novel_001.shtml

So what did everyone think of last night's ep?
Still a little graphic in spots for me (the murder scene and the cheerleader having her head almost knocked off were almost too much for me) but otherwise another great episode.
Random thoughts:
Anybody else notice how the same gun the Indian guy picked up from his assailant popped up in the apartment where the artist was murdered in the future?
Methinks it could be a red herring but you never know...

Yes, yes, yes. Watched it and loved it. This one was even better than the first. And that is an awesome eye you have SPS on the gun. I didn't even catch that and looking in my memory you are 100% right about it looking like the exact same gun. The dual lady Hero she sort of makes me wonder if her power is good or is it bad? Will her power try to take control and dominate? I wonder about the cheerleaders step father. Is he good or is he bad. You get the main impression he is bad, but there’s something about him that gives off a vibe that maybe, just maybe, he might be one of the good guys. The two brothers who fly. The older brother sort of reminds me of the father in the X-Men who refuses to admit his mutant ties and he’s the main driving force against mutants. I sort of see the older brother playing that role. And of course, Hiro was awesome as usual.

In case any of you have not seen this or missed it: Descriptions of each Heroes' powers by Tim Kring Niki - "Her journey is about figuring out how to unify this other side of her and ultimately to control it." Nathan - "A guy running for office is really under a microscope ... Nathan doesn't want [to be seen as] strange and unappealing" Peter - Has ability to absorb other people's powers. "He will be tempted whether to use it for good or evil." Mohinder - He's on a journey to discover what is father knew and why he died for knowing it. Hiro - Bending space-time continuum, teleportation. "It's no coincidence that we named him Hiro .... He truly is on a hero's quest." Claire - Her ability is being indestructible, but "like any teenager, the last thing she wants is to be different from everybody" Matt - Telepathic ability "It's both a blessing and a curse ... He hears what he wants to, but also what other people really think of him." Micah - Micah's ability is "something very different than either of his parents." Isaac - Predicting future in paintings "Early in the season, he's trying to figure out if these powers exist when he isn't high" Simone - "You can't have an entire show where everybody has a power ... She's a very important character because she's the voice of the average person saying, 'this is crazy. This isn't real!"

Following Heroes so far and I expected to be let down, but I did like it. I agree with SPS that its only negative is that it is too graphic in some parts. If I had kids, I wouldn't let them watch it for exactly that reason. Otherwise, great writing and a good character ensemble so far. Unexpected twists, which is always a great hook for me. Will be looking forward to seeing tomorrow's episode.

Again, a pretty good episode. I'm kind of fearing that Hiro will eventually sacrifice himself at the end though, and inspire all the other people on the show to be less self-centered. Hopefully not, though.
Icky scene there at the end what with Claire being operated on though.
I think the character I'm most interested in right now is Niki.

This ep was still good but not as good as the first two episodes IMO. The attempted rape and subsequent autopsy of Claire didn't work for me. But we'll have to see how they follow up on it.
Also random things:
The black guy (Skylar?) obviously has ties to Muresh's father since the same necklace he wears has the design of the code in the detection program.
Also does Claire have a clone or something? There was a girl that looked alot like her at that fire.
Also Hiro is good as always

Claire will get her due. If I think what will happen, will happen, then it will be revenge at its best.

Hiro seems to have a sidekick. Then again all good heroes should. Peter's brother is less of a jerk if you read this week webcomic. It would seem a bit of his brother is rubbing off on him.

I am still reserving judgement on this one -- Have watched all of them, but they are still pretty predictable and too low key for me I think... Will stick with it, but would be good if the pace picked up and better writing was employed...

A little slow for me but the cliffhanger with Hiro more than made up for it (probably because I don't care much for Claire, Nikki, and Nathan). Though I wonder is Claire's father collecting sleeper agents or something? Think of it this way so far He's got Nikki (don't know for sure even though she has the symbol on her), the black guy, possibly Matt (cop), Nathan, and he wants his daughter obviously (get yer mind out of the gutter!). Theoretically Claire's father could have a team that could take over the world. Nathan is the political power and the front for their nefarious activities, Claire and Nikki are the powerhouses obviously, the black guy could dampen the other specials' powers, and Matt could hear there thoughts (possibly influence others also).
That could also be a reason why to save the world Peter and the others have to save Claire. I think Claire plays a huge part in her father's plans just not sure what yet.

I really like this one. I knew Claire would get her due with that PoS Jock who had no honor.
Maybe I remember incorrectly, but didn’t Niki’s light side Not have the tattoo only the dark side had it.
Peter could possibly be the most powerful out of them all. I think only he has the power and ability to thwart the super villain’s powers.
Nathan, what can I say, a PoS husband who has no honor neither, by cheating on his wife.
