janggut- I really do need some sunshine. I don't think I could ever live anywhere where it rains most of the time. The few months of rain are enough for me!
Shan - my knee is still giving me problems. I'm gonna try to do more exercises with it. I hope I don't have to go to physical therapy just because my stupid kneecap popped out of place!
I am so glad Will is coming home tonight. Only been married a few months, but I've already gotten used to and comforted by his presence. Sleeping alone has been difficult. Sleepless nights haven't helped my sour mood. And I miss his cooking! Gosh, I almost killed myself trying to cook. No fires or anything, but it tasted gross.
Anyway, I'm doing a bit better today. Work is getting worse, but I was able to cut out early and go to the local anime convention. I only went to talk to two artists, the rest of the show was pretty lame and cosplay/anime fans are crazy, especially teens. Anyway, it lifted my spirits to talk with Katie Bair (who did Ninja High School and is currently doing Aesir Corp) and Brandon McKinney (ElfQuest, Star Wars, Ben10, etc.). I haven't seen Brandon in at least a couple of years, due to the fact that he moved across the country. He's still doing work for others, but I reminded him to get back to his own original idea. He promised he'd try to get something new out in a year. I'm gonna badger him every few months and then he'll get after me to get my own work done. Sounds like a plan. ^_^

Me, I'm slowly recovering from a horrible weekend.
On Friday, around 10 in the late evening/night, my leaft ear began to ache. It was so strong that I couldn't sleep, only some mugs of hot tea with honey could warm me up so I could doze a bit. Shortly before 5 in the morning, the pain stopped and something happened inside my ear. I don't know what it was. Then, at ten in the same morning the other ear began to ache ... It was almost the same story. My hearing dropped, my flu ( I had before that) took over and now everything's gone except my flu. I'm recovering slowly, but steadily. Might sound worse than it is, but it's the way I feel.

Alrik, I sorry you've been so sick lately. That has to have been a real bummer. I am glad you are feeling better, and I hope you get rid of the rest of it real soon. Being sick is no fun. Take care. Shan

Well, at least I can say all what's left is the flu. But that's still annoying. But it gets better day by day.

The ear ache is gone. No, I haven't been to the doctor yet, but I want to. I rather want to get rid of my flu first, but that's going to be difficult. Anyway, I must go out and do several things tomorrow, I could go to the doctor as well.

Hey, Alrik, you take care. Don't over do. The things will still be there when you get to feeling better. We don't want any relapses, you hear? Sarah, hope you're feeling better now that Will is back home. I know I always am when Chris gets back. Take care. Shan

I feel it : It gets better every day. Only in the morning I must cough very much; I don't like it. But today ... well at least in the second half of the day ... my nose was behaving better than yesterday and my coughing even got less ! Couldn't get to the doctor, because he had closed. Will go tomorrow.

Alrik, Jags, no fair passing that stuff around. If you've got to pass something from one to the other find something good to pass. Oh, and don't even think about passing it on to me. I don't want it. And I hope the two of you get to feeling great again real soon. Shan

I was at the doctor - and got a time where I can come and get inspected. It's next week's Tuesday. [Where's the "silly" icon ?]

That always get's me with doctors, when you have the symptoms now, they always want to see you later, and when later comes round, you don't have the symptoms any more...

Shhh!! That's the big secret of medicine: it's not the inspection or the prescribed treatment, it's the appointment that heals. The two later are intended for the tenacious imaginary ill persons. Now that you have your appointment, Alrik, you should be better real soon.
