This thread is for posting general personal news or annoucements regarding forum members. Basically, this thread is designed to be a quick and easy way for members to keep track of what's going on at the Cascade. I'm keeping this stickied for ease of use. I will also remind people that if you decide to talk about other boards for any reason, please be polite and respectful in doing so. I'm sure this doesn't need to be said, because you are all smart and reasonable people, but I'm making this clear to you anyway.  Thanks to Janggut for the suggestion. |

as the first piece of news, which sadly isn't the best of news. hardly good at all, in fact. Shan e-mailed me earlier near to weekend, telling me that she's not feeling well. i hope this answers the question for those who notice her being absent. knowing Shan, i'm sure she'll be back soon. prayers & positive thoughts are welcomed. |

Pedro is very happy that he has a job after finishing his master in psychology. it may be part time, he said, but it is something which he feels passionate about. congratulations, pedro. all of us are happy for u. ************** BJC is now on the clear after some trouble given by dissatisfied party & with him passing his test, he is now a professional wrestler. BJC, u're born a fighter & live as one. congrats from us & keep a good fight. ************** it is a sad day for our dear ss, who has lost his brother to aneurism. he will be attending to his persoanl needs as well as that of his family this next few days. our hearts go to u, ss. may your brother & everyone in your family find peace & comfort in this time. Just wanted to let everyone know that with Christmas only a week away and so many things going on, that I want be around much until after New Year's Day. We have friends coming in from out of town to spend Christmas and New Year's with us, so I will be spending alot of time with them. Don't worry though, I'm not deserting you. I still plan to pop in off and on to keep everybody around here in the Christmas spirit. ;D MERRY CHRISTMAS

I'm getting broadband on Wednesday or Thursday, so hopefully that will help increase my activity around here a bit more as I'll be able to load more sites at once.
Mangahelpers.com and Narutoforums.com have both really sucked up a lot of my computer time lately. Sorry about that.

Hi everybody I'm sorry I wasn't able to be around at all over the holidays, but things got really hectic around here and I haven't even been on the computer for 2 weeks. We had company from the weekend before Christmas until New Year's Day. Also on December 28 we had a very dear friend to die of a heart attack, a very sad event for all of us. He was in his early 50's and is survived by his wife and 4 children. His oldest daughter was married this past May and he has a daughter who is a senior in high school and a son and a daughter who are in middle school. He was a long distance truck driver and we are all thankful that he was not driving when it happened. He had gone to the yard to pick up the trailer and it happened while he was hooking up and died on the way to the hospital. I hope that all of you had a very wonderful holiday season. I really missed you guys and it is great to be back. Shan |
