I'm recovering now, some minor aching every now and then, but its getting better and better with the time. I don't know whether my tasting has become better, though.  So it might even not have been a good deal?  So guys, I'm moved last weekend, into my new lovely place. Still got no internet but that is a minor thing atm. I have to stay a few days with my bf now, since workers are making a lot of noise in the back part of my appartment. My landlord wants to make another single bedroom appartment there. But I'm working night shifts so I really need my sleep during the day.
I've been very low, but now I'm back on my feet again. Life is good  Glad that you like your new place and that the noise is only from construction work; that's temporary at least, and it looks like you have a back up.  Hope it all continues to improve.  |

I just realized that some have indeed noted that I kept a low profile lately...
...the reason is that my employer surprisingly has given me the 'golden handshake' (though it more felt like a brass plated kick in where it hurts) and I have to rearrange my life...
Which means I am on the job market, and I may have to relocate myself, with everything that entails.
I'll see what the future has in stake for me - thrilling to some extent... - but anyway, I may be busy elsewhere on higher or more immediate priorities, but I'll be around!

Just to let you guys know, I'm trying to quit smoking and already survived 60 hours without a cigarette. No signs of nerve wrecking, hyper jumping or eating disorders yet ;D
I hope I can manage it, I'm not using anything, no nicotine chewing gum, no patches, just quit cold turkey. I try not to focus on it, cuz it makes me want a smoke ;D

u go, Gal!! if u must focus on it, don't try to fight it. look at that 'obsession' as if it's a separate part of yourself. like a rabbit caught in the headlight, that obsession may freeze & lose its hold on u. my dad quit cold turkey too a few years ago. he decided that enough is enough & that was that. now he's doing great health-wise. |

Soo far soo good, doing pretty well, got my activities as usual and don't get bored. Boredom is the worst thing when you're trying to quit. I wonder how I will manage this weekend, going to a club and all, not easy there I suspect.
