As a result of my wonderful method of delaying college work until everything is horribly too late, I'll have to resort to the Grand Artillery I still have three weeks until my exams start. Three weeks in which I have an awful lot to study, so I'm locking myself up in the middle of books, healthy food and late night work and far away from the pc and partying. So you'll see me a lot less on Chaos for about six weeks (3 weeks until my exams and then another 3 weeks of exams themselves). In the weekend I'll still try to catch up a bit on what's going on here. But if you see me hanging around here too much, you may always point me back into the direction of studying ;D I have to pass this freaking first year, it would really be a shame if I had too much "second exams" during holidays. So, that was my half-goodbye for six weeks. Unleash the Grand Artillery! What subject are your exams in? Maybe we can help!

I haven't been able to eat in over 24 hours and I'm really starting to feel it. Can't take any of my pills (currently I'm on 7 medications >.<) or drink water or anything. Still feel like I'm on a rather emotional roller coaster and things would just be better if I could have opened my eyes and not got on it instead. Having a colonoscopy tomorrow. All jokes aside, I think it's going to be awful. And ugh hospitals. Gross places. I had one of those recently. The procedure itself is fine. They knock you out good and proper. You just wake up what feels like an hour later and it's all over. It's the lovely salt-based drink you need to take, and the lack of food beore hand that's the nasty bit. You'll be good.

Nah, Lews is our Hopefully-soon-to-be-ex-drugs-addict. Lews, I hope it went ok and will have been useful. Gal... The machines, of course! And Hildor, good luck with the studies and exams. In the mean time, I'll be enjoying my beginning holidays for you. ;D

Lews, see! You're in college and all is well. Shouldn't worry so much, silly.
And he has moved on from the drugs, people. Awhile ago, actually.
It is so weird to call you Lews. Do I have to?
Good luck to everyone dealing with exams! Argh.

I still have 8 days of high school left! Plenty of time to not graduate!
Though I did go to orientation today and signed up for my first classes. Intro to American Government and Politics, the Power of Logic, and the Hollywood Studio System. Starting in late September I'll have classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Woo college! Scary place.. Not silly at all >.<
No you don't have to lol
And she's right.. I haven't taken drugs in forever =/ Jerks.

They aren't scary! Joeee. If you would just listen to me. You'll graduate, I promise.
Can I complain here even though no one knows who I am?
Here goes anyways: Too much pain and the ultracet isn't really helping anymore. I am so, so tired of this. Need better doctors.

Hey people. I've been a bit absent lately because I can't stand the sight of you but it's been a busy few weeks. I'm still unemployed but this month, and only this month, I am working at the local comic book store where I do inventory checks, serve customers, do some communications stuff and hopefully will have time to start setting up a database of the inventory. This is a one month trainee position where I recieve unemployment money from the union and unless the comic store is willing to pay half my wage, I can't continue. That's the hard facts and given the economic situation, it's not a possibility to be hired by the LSC. Still I'm extremely happy to be working, if only for a month. I'm also exhausted as hell since i've been unemployed for so long and that's why I'm so scarcely here. I'm still reading the boards but haven't got that much energy atm

Glad you're well, Peter - and happy to hear you are doing something you love, however temporarily

Yeah it's cool. There's probably 50.000 - 100.000 comics in the inventory so it's quite the workload as you can imagine. I won't be able to go through the whole inventory but I am hoping for some solution that will make me able to stay there another month or two - but the outlook is not good. There's a lot of lifting involved in the work but that's going surprisingly good. I also enjoy entertaining and helping customers and luckily it's a very laid back atmosphere. All in all I'm doing good - I'm exhausted but it's gradually getting better. It just takes a bit getting used to working again

That looks like a cool job, Peter; hope it works out for you to stay there if it isn't too heavy.

Sounds like a fun job, Peter... and any job at this point is a step up from where you were. Enjoy it for as long as it lasts. Hopefully it´ll last as long as possible, and things continue to pick up from here.
