Some of you eagle-eyed boardies will doubtless spot that Shark's name is no longer shown as one of the forum mods. This is at his request, as he feels he doesn't have the time to do it to the standards he would wish. Obviously, I respect his wishes (Albeit grudgingly, as he is a darn fine mod), and so I will be appointing a new forum mod some time in the next few days. I'd like to say a huge thanks to Shark for doing a great job to this point You will be a hard act to follow, my friend

personally i think he's eyeing for a mod position in the Music Section so he can throw out all those teenie music stuff & implement a Moz Smith Only Section. ;D or he's lacking in meat. ;D mr Morrissey, how goes thy diet?

El, can I switch from Literature to Comics? I'd rather mod there, if you don't mind. Either way, I'm happy to be of service.

I had someone else in mind, DVD, but I will think about it. My big problem is that it leaves me a huge hole in Literature. There aren't many people here who read novels, and I need someone who does to help Shan, who is hugely art-focused.
If any reader types are out there who would like the job of Literature mod, now is a good time to promote yourself...
And I know half the board wants the comic forum, yes ;D

I almost exclusively read non fiction at this time so I'm not an issue.
How about having DVD co-modding both litt. and comics? I mean the guy seems damn desperate ;D

I'd rather keep the modding burden on everyone as light as possible, Peter. Also, the forum is small now, but growing slowly. I hope that one day it will become pretty busy, and when it does, all those mods will still have a reasonable workload rather than anything that might give them headaches At the moment, Literature is quiet. I hope that won't be so for ever

I agree with that, El. As you can see, Doom and me take our turns being here and being absent as far as the art forum, but luckily we seem to be doing the merry go round thing where at least one of us is around. But El, this forum is a heckuva lot easier (no offense) to moderate than other forums I'm currently moderating at. We need more members.

We do, Phil. The more the merrirer, I think As our current best recruiter - keep at it, will ya? And yes -this is a really easy board to mod. Great, ain't it?

Hey, I get sick and am not around for awhile and everything changes. Shark asks to be relieved of mod duties and dvd wants to desert me for the comics board and all this time i thought i was being really nice to him. ;D Shark, it is sad to see you have to give up the mod position, but I hope things go good for you no matter what else you might under take. You will be missed. Shan

I have been trying hard to come up with someone who could do the job on Literature who is not Rich, Steve or myself, and... It's not looking good. Novel reading doesn't seem to be a main activity for many of the people here, so I think poor Rich is stuck There will possibly be a bit of shuffling, but obviously I have to talk to people and see how they feel about it first...

DVD's biggest problem is that he is a VERY good Lit mod, and would be hard to replace normally. Good comic mods are easier to find.

I just don't post all that much anymore, so I figured the comic forum deserves better than what I've been giving it. -SHARK DIGGLER
