I'm here, I'm here! ;D My favs... La reine des Elfes, La Clef, La reine des fées, Galadriel, La Madone. I like Le Feuillu, Angelette, L'artiste, Sann'Vean, Sann'Real, Les trois Parques, Amandine (but less her face) and Licorne a lot too. She does great work. Her portraits really seem to be her best pieces, to me. I'm sure that some like L'artiste would look even better if the pics were of a better quality; it's a shame that they're so low and a lot with those wooden frames that seem to disturb from the pics themselves. I like the sign she signs her paintings with.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Wow, I really didn't realize the names of the pics could add so much to them until you translated these for me. So the one Steve was thinking about as his Ice Queen, she painted as a queen, Queen of the Elves. Cool.

Yeah, Shan, pretty much. I knew what "Reine" meant, which helped. Reine looks like a Queen, doesn't she? Regal bearing and everything.

Hey, Fille, you mean you didn't like my L'Homme Sombre guy? ;D And I didn't care much for Amandine either because of her face. It's not near as well done as the others.

Chalk it up to my weird thinking. I sometimes forget what's obvious to me isn't to everyone else. ;D But yeah, I figured it out. "Reine" is pretty close to the Spanish "reina", which means the same thing.

Yeah, I would really loved to have found a larger and better quality of that picture. I really like it.
So I'm not the only one who is bothered by the wooden frames? Good. ;D I feel better now. ;D

I'm not a big fan of the frames either, really. "Fées Chantelune" is my favorite of the above pics. Really nicely done. I think I have translations for a couple of these. "La Dame Blanche" means "The White Lady", I believe. Unless Fille corrects me and it turns out my French is even worse than I thought, that is. ;D

No, no, no, not fair. You're suppose to think like me. ;D Oops, maybe he is thinking like me and that is why Steve's thinking is so weird. ;D Yay, someone else who doesn't like the frames. Hey, Fille, now there are 3 of us who don't like these frames. Oh, and my favorite out of the above is L'ombre. I like the other and some of them I like alot, but L'ombre is my favorite. Fille, does ombre have anything to do with the shadow in the picture?

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Wow, I really didn't realize the names of the pics could add so much to them until you translated these for me. So the one Steve was thinking about as his Ice Queen, she painted as a queen, Queen of the Elves. Cool. Hey, it's my pleasure to do it; and it's only a few words, not a big job either. I'm pleased if it adds some to it. All of her profile maiden portraits have an aristoractic look, to me; the refined features, high standing, pointy chin, serious look. Aside from their garments that hint strongly to it as well, of course. ;D But yeah, I figured it out. "Reine" is pretty close to the Spanish "reina", which means the same thing. Yeah, Spanish, English and French seem to overlap a lot. With the knowledge of English and French, I think one can manage to understand Spanish reasonably fine; maybe is it so with knowing Spanish and English for French as well. Yeah, I would really loved to have found a larger and better quality of that picture. I really like it. So I'm not the only one who is bothered by the wooden frames? Good. ;D I feel better now. ;D A larger, better quality of every one of them would be even better. ;D Enjoyment aside, it would be interesting to be able to see some for the detail and fidelity of the original pieces; I'm sure that some of them look far more outstanding than the pictures there show, maybe even more than those that we find stand out the most ATM. Those wooden frames, they look like the frames of the old cork boards in schools have... ;D I understand very well your disgust to think about removing them; I feel the same. This kind of pain, it's always to do over again and again; resize, crop, clean... People have no pride for their pictures or what...

Oops, forgot I still had things to say. ;D Hey, Fille, you mean you didn't like my L'Homme Sombre guy? ;D No, I like him; he feels vampirish to me. I prefered the others I named, though. But the dark man image is one that I think would look much finer if the picture quality was better. My fav ones of the above are L'ombre, Magic Hor[s,d?]es and Le hibou. These last two should [guess what ;D] so we could see them better, though...
