Chorale - Warsaw Philharmonic, composed by Yoko Kanno, featured in the anime film Memories.
very beautiful choral piece with russian styled men choral singing gently with saxophone fluttering like butterfly high above the voices. melts me every time.

Fish ~ Silent Cruise by Yoko Kanno (featured in Ghost In The Shell: Standalone Complex soundtrack)
started with a female voice without accompaniement then came synth/sampled violin & paused for silence. after this was synth backed by orchestra (very new age but more cinematic/dramatic) that climbs to a climax. beautiful.
