Johnny Cash - Hurt and God's gonna cut you down. Christ - he put it all into these songs in his last years. What a legacy he has...

This old gem. Interestingly enough I'm skipping the most famous songs (The Jack? Nope. T.N.T? Nope. And I doubt I'll be listening to the title track either). I'm currently listening to the lamest chorus ever written by AC/DC. Bon Scott makes it sound edgy, tells you something about his level of talent, doesn't it? Übereil

"AC/DC could do the Hokey Pokey and it would ROCK!" to quote one comedian who was, nonetheless, completely correct! ;D

Bone Thugs -N- Harmony - "Uni-5: The World's Enemy". Currently streaming on MySpace before its release on May 4th (Tuesday). All FIVE of Bone are back (as the album title tells us)...ABOUT TIME. But, this album is really all over the place. Lyricism is on-point, for sure - but some of the choruses/hooks and beats are just not-so-good and just don't really work AT ALL; often ruining some songs. Oh, the skits are a waste of time here, too - not really fitting the rest of the song's themes (for the most part). Ugh, this album could've been MUCH better - if they re-tooled some beats; throw out some hooks or fixed some hooks. This album should've been in the cooker a bit longer or had some different tracks on there. (A bunch didn't make this album, no surprise). I think I liked "Strength & Loyalty" better (which only had 3 of Bone's members, not all 5), actually. Still, I think "E. 1999 Eternal" is their classic. Stand-Outs: "Rebirth", "See Me Shine," "Meet Me In The Sky", "Facts Don't Lie." Awful Tracks: "Universe", "Wanna Be."
