Great idea, Pedro My top favourite has to be A-Ha's vid for Take On Me. I love the way the cartoon world and the real world interact. It's one of the most imaginative and interesting I've ever seen. Fuzzbox's video for International Rescue is great - Barbarella as done by the Thunderbirds in typical Fuzzbox ironic style. Skye Sweetnam's Imaginary Superstar is so completely original it has to have a spot. The whole thing was created by Skye herself with Lego men. Not that you'd believe it - it looks professional. Hmmm... Those are my three real standouts, but I'll see if I can think of any more. Most videos are just people bouncing around which is neither original nor creative...

Elliot Yep, i must agree that the AHA "take on me" is one "we old geezers" won't forget. i was also rather impressed by the Duran Duran "wild boys", another one that will saty inside my memories (even if i'm not very fond of them). I like very much the video clip of REM "everybody hurts", "bullet with butterfly wings" from the S. Pumpkins (mostly because it was directly inspired on the Sebastiao Salgado photos. of the open sky mines in brazil" and always like the R. Stones one with the animated cartoons (can't remember the name)...

I'm adding 'Negotiate With Love' by Rachel Stevens to my list. Incredibly clever video, involving six Rachels all active in different parts of the screen

In no order : - Peter Gabrtiel : Sledgehammer - Genesis : Land of Confusion - Aha : Take on Me - David Bowie : this song for Labyrinth, the movie, don't know its name - Michael Jackson : Thriller (the longest video clip back then) - in good, yet quite blurred memory : "Juliet" by Robin Gibb - same goes for "Maid of Orleans" by OMD - and "Our House" by Madness -> all older songs, I don't watch video clips nowadays anymore. I simply love the videos in which whole stories are being told.

Sledgehammer- Peter Gabriel Tonight Tonight- Smashing Pumpkins (Love the homage to A trip to the moon) Take on Me- A-ha Crooked Teeth- Death Cab for Cutie
I'll come up with the other 4 later.

Alright, like Ubs, I haven't watched too many music videos. I have two that I can think of right now that I liked. Breaking The Habit - Linkin Park (I like the powerful emotion in the song and the vid) The Bird And The Worm (Warning, this one is distrubing. But thats why I like it. It's ideas are really interesting and symbolic.) I'll try to find more later. Scratch that. I just watched Thriller, via the links. That... was... freaking... HILARIOUS! Might as well add that to my fav vids right now. ;D Killerzzz
