Taylor just got SIX nominations for the American Music Awards. Unless my rough count is wrong, that gives her the highest number of nominations this year. Full nominee list is hereI think they're gonna have to ban Kanye West, just in case ;D

Taylor Swift officially has Billboard's longest charting album of this century with her self-titled debut country album. Taylor Swift was first released in October 2006 and now in its 157th week in the Top 200 albums chart beating out previous record-holder Nickelback. Congratulation to Taylor. However it was only nine years in this century .........

Taylor carried all before her at the CMAs yesterday. She won Best Video, Female Vocalist of the Year, Best Album and the ultra-prestigious Entertainer Of The Year. And she got some sort of special award for international promotion of Country music. Nominated for four, won five. Only Taylor! ;D The New York Times has an interesting article

And lots of AMAs too. She's losing her touch, though. She was nominated for six and only won five! ;D

Well, 5 out of 6 is higher in percentage (and actual) value than 4 out of 5. I predict she'll be sweeping awards for quite awhile. BTW, congrats on 18,000 posts EK! And with RSI on top of it... That's a pretty impressive achievement.

I don't even notice my post count anymore, Dragon, honestly. Thanks, though! ;D
I suspect you're right that she'll be sweeping awards for a while yet, though. Although much will depend on the third album, which I suspect she is working on even now...

Hehe, Imma counting... We'll see how it goes for her 3rd album; but even if it doesn't do so well (at this stage, unlikely), there's probably gonna be the opportunity of a 4th album, since she's so young. Unless, of course, she pulls off a self-destruction - Britney style. (but even then, Britney's picking herself back up now)

3rd album is due this year some time, if Taylor's hints on Twitter are anything to go by...

She's slipping! Nominated for 8 Grammys and only won four! ;D
Seriously - pretty amazing haul for a 20 year old!

Just observing her face - was the only thing I noticed out of the ordinary. ;D
Nah, she's nothing to me. Just a singer. If not for CC and Kanye West I would not know her at all.
