Got the Deluxe version of her album on the grounds it has more songs. Well worth it, too. Her sound is a bit different to most country - less annoying twang, more smooth. I wouldn't quite say it's Country-Pop - it's definitely Country... Just good ;D

Taylor seems to have added a couple of new songs to her MySpace - Beautiful Eyes and I Heart Question Mark. It doesn't say, but I'm guessing these would be from the second album she was working on last I heard... So more Taylor soon? We can only hope

Vid for Change - the first single from her new album. It's the US Olympics theme, too. Pretty awesome tune. Gold medal, Taylor! ;D

Very talented young lady, whatever her name.

*amused* I don't think it's that bad of a name, Lews. And even if so and so is a porn star, I couldn't give a damn. It's the person that matters, simple enough.
EK: Will give her songs a shot afterwards. ;P

Cool. Be interested to hear what you think, Luci (And two last names just sounds like a normal American to me ;D)

Listening now:
I like how she plays the errr... guitar(?) in "Should've said no". Her voice is strong and I don't hear her throwing any fake airs. The other songs... well, actually, I really liked the "country" touches since I am so terrified of "radio-friendly rock"(Jonas bros, anyone?).
Oh hell... I just realised something. To hell with stereotyping and labels, it's just music. ;D

No wait, let me revise this. I like the distinctive country touches really... without them, her songs would be another "run of the mill clone of a budding rocker".

She's great, isn't she? Normally I am not a Country fan, but I definitely am a Taylor fan. She has her own sound, really. Country based, but not entirely...

"She's the only female solo artist ever to write or co-write every song on a platinum-selling debut album." - in the US, I am assuming. Cover of the new album, which will be called Fearless:

I think it's the hair. It's not a portrait so much as a work of art, the way they've done that. Very Pre-Raphaelite. It's a rare photograph that truly hits that level.

Hmmm... yeah the hair looks very cool but also, she looks very sensual.

Odd as it sounds, I didn't really think of it that way. More 'What a gorgeous image' than 'Taylor looks gorgeous'. Probably because I know she's only 18

Probably because I know she's only 18 Oops... ;; I forgot about her age but that's probably because I regarded her as human first. I just went "what a sensual artistic image" or something like that.
