It's quite possible that this is old news, but AC/DC are recording a new album. They started work in January 2006, and there is no slated release date yet. Even though I haven't heard much of their more recent stuff, I'm excited about it. Apparently some of the riffs are a little harder than most of their present material

This one has been rumoured for a while, but yeah - it's still exciting! A new AC/DC album can only ever be a good thing

I hope it's going to be good though, after all, the guys aren't 20 anymore

Recording of the new album is officially complete! It's going through all the mixing & stuff right now... I reckon it'll be a Xmas release...

It's now official! Black Ice is released in the UK on Oct 20th. And worldwide soon after, I should imagine.

Gotta say - I love it. It's in the normal AC/DC style and probably won't win them any new fans for that reason, but it's a very high quality album with no makeweight or weak songs. I'd thoroughly recommend it to any fans - and to anyone thinking of checking them out

Nice Piece of work by the aging rockers, as out leader has already stated its the same old style, so nothing new. It is howver quite a nice addition to the back catalogue and goes to prove that they can still "do the do" as they would say. With any luck I might even manage to catch any up and coming tour this time round (as i missed the last one).

I heard a week and a half ago on their website. Yup, I liked what I heard. Yup, so I went out and bought it this weekend.
Oh, and since I didn't have any, I picked up 5 other AC/DC albums that were on sale -- Dirty Deeds, High Voltage, Back in Black, Highway to Hell, and For Those About To Rock.
On Black Ice album, I really like "She Likes Rock N Roll."
