So you HAVE to be Jewish, AND a Jehovah's Witness? OK, now the number makes more sense

Tsel, That thing about Jesus not going to heaven...in Hinduism apparently the soul lingers outside the body for 3 days..or something thats why he didnt go to heaven...of course this theory may be wrong but who knows? I know this is old quote, but thought I would add that it seems Jewish belief is also along those lines....Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead (John Chapt 11) and He waited four days to do it... The most accepted reason was that it was believed that the spirit lingered for 3 days....which goes along with your statement... Jesus waited 4 days so there would be no doubt that Lazarus was truly dead, not just "swooning", and Jesus stated as much in verse 4 of Chapt 11, while Lazarus was just sick, not dead yet, that... "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby". So, Jesus wanted to show the Jews that His power was the Power of God, because they all knew and believed that only God had the power to raise the dead... Let me add, that"Heaven" as we believe it to be did not yet exist technically, because Jesus told his disciples that "I go to prepare a place for you...." and Paradise (was a belief which I also believe) was a place where the souls of the righteous went...ie...Abrahams Bosom" prior to Christs coming and preparing Heaven...etc...
