Hey boys and girls... I am currently on my way to the sandbox...I am sitting stateside right now waiting for a plane...Ill fly out of here in a couple hours and then hit Ramstein then on to Kuwait...yipeee... Ok so leaving the wife behind royally bites...I am not happy right now...I wont claim to be macho or anything but I am relatively tough and I wont lie...cried like a little girl with a lost teddy bear earlier...sigh...all this sitting around is killing me.  |

I hope you wont feel sad for long, the idea of you crying tears my heart out. Soon you and your wife will be reunited. Just try to stay out of trouble, keep a low profile and don't bother being a hero, we like you back in one peace as soon as possible.

Hey everyone!
Well I made it and now that I am working its alot easier to be away...not that it is fun mind you but work is at least distracting. It took about 36 hours all told for me to get over here...I didnt sleep much so that was a little rough.
But other than it being pretty dang hot over here I can much complain...all I can say is praise to the person that invented air conditioning.
Thanks for all the wishes they are much appreciated.

HI! Hope everyone is doing well. Its dang hot here (115 on Sunday) but other than that I cannot complain. Its amazing what you see being over here...I probably shouldnt elaborate. You may have seen that the US is sending ammo to Lebanon...yeah I knew that was going to happen like 3 days before the news had any idea...kinda cool. Other than that there is this really nice Kuwaiti lady that has a little shop on base, she sells persian rugs and other random stuff that you cannot buy in the states. We chatted for like an hour about Kuwait and such...very interesting. Hope everyone is doing well. - James |
