Okay, I'm trying to be a more active mod again, so I want to know what you want from this board? New Release info, publishers and title info, reviews, previews, history... Please post what you'd like to see/know about and I'll do my best to respond.

Where to get your hands on dvd's that dont end up costing you 30$ for 3 episodes...I'd like to get my hands on a copy of the full Trigun and Full Metal Alchemist sets...

Other than ebay, there are some online stores that sell anime DVDs cheaper. Here's one: www.discountanimedvd.comThe other one I've used seems to be down. But you can always do a web search for discount anime DVDs.

And you can always use Bittorrent *coughs*
It's the cheapest way to watch them all.

Yeah, you should get a better one someday when you're not quite so busy with life Sarah. It really is a quick-fire way to get just about everything you'd like to read or watch - just keep it in mind, alright

Keep in mind that anime which is distributed online via torrents or otherwise is usually translated much more professionally by fangroups in some cases and also does not censor anything from the original Japanese versions. This has especially been true for Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, all of which have been butchered to some extent by English dubs. This is also true for many others I haven't watched yet. In many cases it may even make anime you've already watched before worthwhile watching again.

Well, we were supposed to get DSL last week, but the modem wouldn't work when we hooked it up. So now we're waiting for wireless. I just hope it works! I'm tired of the phone company promising we can get something, just to find out that the reality is that our phone lines can't support it.
Assuming we can get some sort of faster connection, I can start looking at torrents again. But I'm not getting my hopes up...
