We have a new CW Champion!! Now lets see if I remember how to copy and paste! ;D Here is the review, I chopped it up because it was long and annoyingly ranty. (Long night). But anyway here it is..
Lineup:
Natural Beatings beat The Chaotics- Tag Team Title's Match.
Dave (Stoned) Kincade beat Gavin Lerk
The AARK (Ric & Drake) beat Monty Gunn and Terrel Towers by DQ
The Angel beat Warren The Warrior- In a CELL match for the CW Title.
....
Angel vs. Warren the Warrior
Let me say this is the first CELL match we have seen in about a year. Its great to have it back, I have to say. Now, sure I may be a bit biased because in spite of the rumors floating about Angel. I'm still a fan. I AM a Warren fan, but the name change is cheesey. But as I start writing the review for this match, I notice the cell is lowering from the ceiling and our current champion who is back from an injury is making his way to the ring.
The cell hits the floor and crew lock it in place. Warren the Warrior steps inside and has a look around. Seconds of anticipation pass and the Angel's music hits. He seems to have most of the crowd behind him. After a slow walk to the ring, he puts his hands on the cage and gives it a shake, then steps through the door. Warren looks like he's ready to go, circling the outer ring.
With a good 6 feet between the ring and the cell, he has room to run. Anyway, the match starts. Warren measures his man and goes for a grapple to start the match. He swings behind for a back grapple, but Angel counters with an elbow to the head. Speeding things up about, about 10 minutes into the match, both wrestlers are visably tired. They manage to get each other out of the ring and Warren is in control. He repeatedly slams Angel's head into the cage, gaining big 'boos' from the audience.
About half an hour into the match, things pick up pace again and Angel hits Warren with an F5, then starts to climb the inner cage. He ends up on the ceiling of the cage, holding on like a Spider-Man. He entends his arms and falls backwards off the ceiling into a moonsault, landing on top of Warren! Heck YES! High spots rule. 'Holy Sh*t' chants come in from the crowd.
15 minutes later, Warren is back in control and both men are bleeding considerably from the forhead. Angel was busted open from being pushed into the cage. Warren is bleeding from and right hook. Well. Both men are tired out. Easy to see. Warren starts to work on the ribs of Angel. In seconds, Mathew and Joey of the AARK come to the ring with a ladder, which they try to use to bash the cage in with so they can get in. Doesn't work, they are thrown out by the ref. But Joey nails the ref with an uppercut. Seconds afterward, Todd and Matt Wind come out to make the save and all four men brawl backstage.
Proving it was no distraction, Angel reverses a top rope powerbomb into a Hurricarana, then off the top rope, he hits a Moonsault. Cover. 1. 2. 3. Welcome to the land of title holders. Both men, bloody and bruised make their way to their feet, stumbling but against the ropes. To the shock of the crowd, Warren extends his hand to Angel. The crowd go practially silent, but not for long. Angel accepts the handshake and the crowd literally goes WILD. The two exchange a few words and leave ringside while people shout all sorts of things.
Winner: Angel.
What a way to end a Special Event!
