First issue was a bit... well, bland. But the second is really starting to build things. I have an idea that Morrison is still building everything at this point, but what we're seeing is still the tip of a very large iceberg.
Anyone else reading this? What are your thoughts?

I think that about sums it up so far, honestly. The second issue starts really rolling the story along, but I'm not sure quite to where it's heading yet. Well, other than establishing the idea of "The Day Evil Won". There's some nice moments, though, and I kind of like some of the new Morrisonized characters so far. Sonny Sumo particularly is quite interesting.

I guess I was expecting more, because so far, I am completely un-impressed. It is slow and cumbersome. Pick up the pace, please!!!

I'm not crazy about Morrison (although I did read the entire run of Animal Man and I liked Morrison's run on that) so I'm unsurprised that Final Crisis isn't exactly keeping me interested. But on the other hand it's a lot better than Trinity at the moment, in my opinion.

Just finished #3 and finally the story begins. Sort of. Almost. Just as it's half way over...
It's definitely different, but I'm not sure just how good it is, yet. I guess I'll know in four issues...
Rodney's right though - it's definitely too darned slow.
