Hello, everyone, today I saw an rather art-oriented TV report about Edie Sedgwick. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edie_SedgwickIt was mainly about the movie "The Factory Girl". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Factory_GirlHer fate struck me as kind of sad. I had the feeling as if she was exploited by Any Warhol. While I heard about how he used her, my respect for Mr. Warhol dropped down, down down, deep down through the floor. To me, he isn't anymore the "famous artist" as most people see him. To me, he is now nothing more than a vampire, ready to use people to his liking and letting them fall if they don't have any use anymore for him. I feel deeply sad about her fate. She must have been very sensitive, I fear, and I think some things point to that. No wonder that she became kind of deranged. I fear that she was lured into the wrong place, bad foor her, bad friends, what if she instead had "other" friends ? People who would be interested in the human she was ? I feel very, very sorry for her. May you rest in peace, Edie Sedgwick. Alrik

I agree with you there Alrik. As far as I know, Warhol did exploid his muzes, I never heard otherwise. That's why I'm not a fan of his work, it's too cold and too shallow for my liking.
