(NOTE: I've made my challenge playable even for those who don't play Minesweeper much)
You think you're good at Minesweeper?
Well, maybe you are.
But lets see how you handle these challenges that I've prepared for you!
I've been playing minesweeper lately on Expert +20 mines.
I don't play for speed records, or to win, but to run into hard sticks.
The following are some examples.
More "*" means more difficulty.
For those of you who aren't that good at Minesweeper, try the 1-star challenges.
(go past the questions for examples of answers)
Clear as much space and find as many mines as possible!
1.
* (find 10 bombs and 10 safe places)
** (find all bombs and safe places)
2.
* (find 1 safe place)
** (find 2 safe places)
*** (find all bombs and safe places)
3.
* (find 4 pairs of spots where there COULD be 1 bomb)
** (find 1 bomb and two safe places)
**** (find all bombs and safe places)
4.
* (find 7 pairs of spots where there COULD be 1 bomb)
** (find 1 safe place)
**** (find all bombs and safe places)
5.
* (find 3 pairs of spots where there COULD be 1 bomb)
*** (find all bombs and safe places)
6.
* (find 2 pairs of spots where there could be 1 bomb)
*** (find all bombs and safe places)
Now, you're probably wondering how I expect you to answer these these things.
Well, the best way is to copy the picture in paint, then mark what squares are bombs or safe.
For example:
Problem/Answer *
4 mines (red)
5 safe places(green)
Or **
6 mines (red)
5 safe places (green)
2 pairs of spots where there COULD be 1 mine (yellow)
I guess you could also make a version of Mineweeper in chat with letters and stuff but... that would be pretty hardcore...
Or you could try to explain yourself with words and... yeah, just use Paint.
And if you want, you could explain how you did it along with your answers.
Remember, once you've cleared something or found a bomb, it might help you find another clear/bomb spot.
You might notice that there are no 5-star challenges.
Well, those are hard to come by. They involve using crazy means to come to a seemingly impossible end.
Make sure you don't look at other people's answers if you want to have your own tries!! Look only at THIS post!!
Good luck! Lets see how good you are at Minesweeper after all!
Mouahahahaha! ;D
