I'm back already! ;D
Thanks guys.
'Twas the season, Fille. ;D
Yeah, Hildor, those poor students (particularly Highschool ones here). Oh well, just gonna have to enjoy my fun that much more to make up for their suffering.
I went on a cruise!
And besides relaxing and watching the entertainments and tourisms, I did the number one thing you're supposed to do on a cruise:
EET MANY FOODEZ~!~
I tells ya, when every day is all-you-can-eat, you find that you can eat alot.
Buffet for breakfast (if you're up in time
)
Buffet for lunch (pretty much random food)
And dinner at a nice restauraunt room (in which you can order seconds and thirds because its already payed for, as long as you can finish within 3 hours
)
Of course you can go to the dining room for breakfast and lunch if you want to be all propah, or the beffet for supper if you don't feel like being waited upon.
AND, during most of the day, get ask for burgers/hotdogs/fries/desserts at certain areas, or make yourself a cone/bowl of vanilla/chocolate/strawberry icecream/frozenyogurt from one of the many machines at any time of the day as much as you want.
So, I've mentionned alot of food.
My point is, I gained 10 pounds on this trip.
I am offically nolonger underwieight! Yay!
I'll be back to normal after a good month or two of my usual eating habits though.
I saw some cool fish, and coral formations, and underwater stuff while snorkling. Went parasailing, which is basically getting strapped to a parachute thats roped onto a moving boat. ;D
Saw some cool tropical birds. A few looked like something out of Jurrassic Park.
Unfortunately, the most interesting land animal I saw though was a HA-YOOUGE moth. It was blending in with the cement on a dock. Judging by the group of tourists that I saw on that spot later, it probably got trampled.
Someone said they saw an equally hayoouge bee, but I missed it.
But I didn't see any cool lizards or amphibians or mammals.
I did get some wicked sunburns though! ;D
My own fault of course. Sunscreen is for cowards and smart people!
Funny part is that I got really burn, on one side.
And its peeling. (eww)
And now for one of Killerzzz's crazy stories.
(do not read if you are scared of plane rides
)
The plane ride back was not fun. I was sick that day (today O-O), woke up early for the flight, and things were okay enough thus far (except for some woman who kept trying to cut in front of others in line at the airport, and kept getting told off).
See, apparently my sickness must have included an ear infection, because while we were descending, my ears did NOT pop.
The trick is, you're supposed to swallow alot to relieve the pressure from the descent. Usually, I have no problem doing this.
But today, the swallowing did NOTHING! The pressure just kept building and building for about 10 minutes. At first it felt funny, and I couldn't hear well like there was cotton in my ears. Then it started hurting. For a bit, I felt like my head was going to explode. And like any normal person feeling that, I began squeezing my skull as if that would keep it together. To my surprise, squeezing the sides of my head actually forced a tiny bit of pressure out of my ear (I could feel/hear it happening), which was actually disquieting.
See, if by squeezing my head I relieved pressure, that meant that my head was expanding slightly, right? (EWWWWWWW!) So, I did that every 10 seconds or so to relieve a miniscule amount of pressure. Apparently that was not enough. So, for the 10 minutes after the previously mentionned 10 of build-up, pressure began to be relieved forcefully out of only my right ear, every minute or so. That hurt more than the build-up.
And that continued until landing, and a little while afterwards. I still couldn't hear properly, even after it stopped hurting, because there was still pressure in there. In fact nearly 6 hours later, I still have a tiny bit of pressure in there, and my hearing isn't back to 100%.
Overall I had a great time. I definatly got some much needed relaxaiton done. ;D
Now, its back to cold weather, and work, and whatnot stress, YAY!
