And unlike Peter's goals this one counds (wee I reached 2000 posts. Yay me...).
I've managed to get into university (meaning, I havn't screwed up yet...)! So, basiclly, I'm going to university. I've just accepted an education called simulation and development of computergames (or something like that, the name is bureocracyswedish, so it's a tiny bit difficult to translate) on Örebro University. Since I live in Örebro since... ever I won't have to move somewhere and I won't have to take a study loan. Which is great. Hopefully the education I got is too.
So, in August sometime it begins. New pepole, new school, new study tecniques. And hopefully some new friends...

In the UK degree results are classified into 5 passing grades and failer
1st class honours 2nd class 1st degree honours 2nd class 2nd degree honours 3rd class honours Pass
Depending on your university 1st class can range from 70% over all to 90% over all pass mark.

We still have an approvedgrade here. And if you shine, shine, shine you might get a VG (well approved). If I feel like going to UK I'll check out how to translate the grades to "English".
Wouldn't it be easier if we had the same gradesystem in all Europe?

After all, our qualifications reflect our education system and so where the education system for a nation is geared to that nation's mind set and stuff, it's qualifications reflect that. But then we're getting into humanology stuff there so I'll shut up... And as I haven't already done so, congrats on getting into Uni

OK, got some important papers today. CSN (who handles study grants) send out their papers saying how easy it was to apply for study grants online. I thought it was confuseing (you needed some kind of online key you had to get through your bank, and in order to get it I had to use my E-pad... I don't have an E-pad, and I only have a vauge picture of what an E-pad is). Besides, when searching Örebro University (my university) for important info on my program. It seems they forgot that program when makeing the site, so there was no info on that program... I wonder if makeing everything complicated when it comes to universities is a way of keeping us humble or allert... There I found the info for my program at least. They've named it The "Program for simulation and development of computergames" and not "simulation and development of computergames", so it was on P and not S... There was no info I was in need of though (now I know what I will be able to do in four years though ). Übereil
