Gonna need a LOT of bulking up! And nowhere NEAR Scandinavian enough!
So far, looks like 'bad casting syndrome'.

As Kirk's dad, I liked him. But Thor? I'm not yet convinced on this one...

He did well enough in the role. He will need to bulk up like crazy, but for me he's earned the chance.
I'm less thrilled with other casting news. Josh Hartnett as Loki? It is just only a possibility, but still... *shudders* Also, Natalie Portman as the female lead? If so, then here's hoping that it's Jane Foster and not Sif.

Well... Natalie Portman as Sif WOULD have the advantage of being absolutely hilarious casting... Wait, does anyone think this might be a comedy? ;D
Make sure all the ancient Norse gods have the heaviest American accents possible, other than a Sif (Goddess of battle, no less!) who can barely lift her sword in both hands? ;D
