Today's Lying in the Gutters was the last one. Thoughts?

Kinda sad, but was always likely once the guy had a kid to take care of.
Can't say I've read it in a while, personally, but it was always entertaining when I did. I'll miss not being able to scope it out if I wanted to.

I haven't read the column too much recently either, so can't comment on the specifics. In general, though? A real shame that he can't continue it. Johnston brought a lot of interesting facts to light, exposed a lot of people that deserved to be called out to the carpet, and was often entertaining while he did so. I'll also miss the Swipe File. It's always interesting to see when artists are blatantly copying from each other, and it's good that he brought it back for a while. Quite understandable if he's taking time away for family, though... and I hope he does decide to return to the rumor mill when he can.

Intriguing site, SPS. I think I'll be following this one for now. So far, Bleeding Cool looks like an expanded version of LitG, with features, news, and just interesting oddities. It probably won't hurt them that they have Warren Ellis on board either at this stage. Promising, but we'll see how well it grows from here.

Bleeding Cool is quite a cool site. So much that I'm even a member there
