Looks like cut rock, something like agate. I'm not sure which ones are blue.

I think atmospheric is on the right track.
A cloud bank, taken from a very high flying object (a weather balloon?), so that the earth curve shows?

Hehe, I love it! Good answers, but nobody got it! ;D It's dust plumes blown off the coast of Saudi Arabia over the Red Sea, cropped from an image taken by the NASA's Terra Satellite on January 15, 2009. ![](http://i39.tinypic.com/10crafr.jpg) Glance's guess is the closest; you win, your turn to post a picture!

Do you mean pollen?

Yes, I do mean pollen. I even looked up the spelling of the word, matched with the name of a flower company and assumed that was correct. ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/embarrassed.png)

Hand-E-Food got it spot on; it's pollen grains, congrats! (As much I would like to give credit, unfortunately, I can't find back the website I found it on, sorry; it was one about microscope imagery ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) )

Thank you, Fille. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Okay, this one's a little different. It's clear that there are several figurines in this picture, but what is the shelf they are sitting on? ![](http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/05_01/willard1105_468x304.jpg)

This looks like Henri VIII and his six wives... ...but what could the shelf be? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) - something displaying the kings and queens of England? - or the Tudor dynasty?

Is it the eye of a needle?

I've seen this one before and I agree with Flix, it's Henry VIII and his six wifes in the eye of a needle. Some artist (forgot his name though) makes tiny sculptures in rice grains, sand, pins and needles.

I'd never heard of him. His work is amazing, to say the least.
Working on finding a good picture for the next round...

Yup that's the one, my father used to make tiny boats in a tiny bottle, and that's how I found this artist. Well done Flix!
