Yeah, saw that. Not quite sure why she'd want stars on her face anyway, but the tattooist definitely took the joke too far.

hmm...
I doubt I could sleep through being tattooed 56 stars in the most sensitive skin of my face - I mean, the procedure isn't exactly painless, isn't it?
Or if I were that tired or exhausted, then I would not have been in a physical condition to have done anything like this...

I doubt that story too, after all, as Glance said, a tattoo isn't painless and certainly not when the tattoo artist is poking in your face with his needle. Well, see it from the bright side, now she can work at the fun fairs in the freak show ;D

It sounds more like she's just trying to run away from the aftermath of the issue.

^am I drunk now or is that the same link Eli? And this chick very likely is just unhappy with her tattoo. When she wanted 3 little stars next to the left eye, she should have been sleightly confused when the tattooist went to her chin and forehead area... and falling asleep while getting tattoos... right

Nooo, I think I must be drunk, Kit! I assumed Gal had linked to the first article I saw, not the follow up. Teach me to check first...
I think you're right that she just changed her mind later and decided to milk it. Probably pretending to someone who would otherwise be very cross with her that it was never her intention.

And finally the truth! She lied to make her life easier, without any thought of the poor tattooist. What a wonderful girl...

Yup, at first she tried to lie her way out of it, by saying she didn't fell asleep but fainted from the pain, and that she only wanted three dots instead of stars. Under pressure of the media, and probably the law, she has 48 hours to come clean with her lies. I don't understand why she wanted to ruin the tattoo artist, or was he a casualty of war to get her goal? A tattoo artist offered to remove the stars with laser, but she will have scars in her face in the shape of red spots. They might fade away in a year from now. If I was her, I would hide far away with a scarf around her face, what she did is beyong reason, only to get some attention and maybe some money :bleep:

I'm thinking someone should, Kit. Assuming wasting police time is a criminal offence in her country, I'm pretty sure that 'someone' will be the police... On the other hand, the tattooist - the only truly injured party, here - should hopefully get some more business out of all this, so he'll come out ahead. That would be nice, at least
