Yep. You read it. Mr. Kennedy has died. And though I am politically not on side with him, I honestly believe he was a good man, and a man who wanted to do good things.

Isn't he the first one that dies a natural death? Well, I know he was sick and all, but at least he's not murdered RIP Teddy

You are all far too nice. While I do feel for his family and all the guy was a symbol of everything wrong with US politics. The guy was in office for 47 years!
So yeah don't get all sucked in by the freaking media making him out to be a saint...

So yeah don't get all sucked in by the freaking media making him out to be a saint... I agree Nero, he was the epitome of a far left liberal, and very unapologetic for it. Most of the time he stood firm for his views and actually worked with his opposition. I will give him that. Although I am sorry that he has died, and have empathy for his family, I will not miss his politics one iota... Maybe Camelot is finally passed into the mist...

Wasn't Ted the one who succeeded in drowning some poor girl in his car, then went home rather than report it?
Accident or otherwise, he seemed to have just left her to die from all reports.
Or was that some other Kennedy?

Whatever. I couldn't give a [Censored]about politicians. I just think the notion that his family is cursed is interesting.

Personally, I don't think he was a good guy either. That why I posted what I did, "he lived a full life, and will be remembered..." Of course, in his case most likely for the worse rather than the better (then again, in his case it's almost NO "better," just a whole lot of "worse").

I believe a person is better than his worst crime, and that we all have reasons to do what we do. I wasn't there so I can't say I have the whole picture. But is certanly looks bad...
