So, I guess I should open some kind of a blog here to update you guys on my experiments here in the hospital. So day -02, today, we came in, got a room, since this block has only large rooms, I have to sleep in a room with 5 other guys. I'm the only girl in this group. So far we had some explanation, about computer tests we have to do starting tomorrow. I think the meds we have to take are effecting our brains or something. We have to do those tests every day, the same tests for 3 weeks now. So we'll see about that lol Then I saw one guy from the other group that started two days ago an he said that the pils are really heavy, he's actually kinda tripping on them lol. So i don't know what effect they will have on me. We cannot drink coffee or dark tea, no caffeine in general, no booze of course, no chocolate or anything in that area. We have to give up a urine sample every day and prolly some more stool samples but I hope not lol. i already have trouble with the first one, I still have to give it in lmao! Anyway, the lights go out at 00.30 and we get up at 6.30 am so I have to get used to day routine again. So take care guys, and i'll try to get online tomorrow to talk about day -01 ;D

Ok guys, part 1, it's 10.21 am right now, woke up at 6.30 am, after a bad night of very little sleep. We had to wait untill 10 before we could get some decaf, first they wanted another urine sample, took blood (8 tubes! ), attached some ECG's, now we have to walk around with that machine on our waist and those cool stickers on our chest Still waiting for our breakfast, everything has to go according to time, I wonder how many pills we have to take today....

Eek, looks like you will indeed earn your money there. I hope that it will all go well and not mess you up too much.

Nothing much to report here atm, pills are for tomorrow so day 1, today we are day -1. If the docs still find nicotine in my urine by tomorrow I can pack my bags already. So fingers crossed! Oh btw, food was pretty good ;D

End of the road for me Appearently my urine still contained too much nicotine, even after 72 hours so I'm expelld from this study. Next time more luck I hope. Anyway, I still get paid 400€ for being there for at least one day.

In the end, I'm actually glad I had to leave. The 5 remaining guys of my group had their first meds yesterday and already a few hours after the first dose 4 of them were soo dizzy that they couldn't walk to their room by themselves, one of them got up in the middle of the night to feel the panels of the ceiling above his bed... the person next to him woke him up and he didn't remember where he was anymore... Yes I say 4 of them cuz there is always one that gets a placebo and it soo happen to be my ex bf who got the placebo. I'm gonna visit them on sunday, they all said hi which is nice. Normally the dose will be higher the further the week goes, but if it's already that bad now, they might stop it in a few days.

It might be just as well that you couldn't stay... Health is priceless and can hardly be bought back. Mind that one doesn't necessarily need pills not to remember where one is when we wake up. ;D Good pay, though, lol!
