Ok.... This is a post for parents/carers/older siblings or anyone who has ever witnessed anything funny done by a child!
I thought of doing this because my daughter brings me copious amounts of laughter on a daily basis of things that she does!
The antics of the morning thus far.....
After deciding that she wanted to be awake at 3:30 this morning, and with mummy resembling a zombie, she figured she could get away with major destruction! After jamming her toothbrush in my ear to make sure I was awake, she decided that the best place to go was the bathroom to see what she could find..... It was the roll of toilet paper..... It looked like it needed exercising! So she took it for a walk..... all round my apartment!
When I realised what was going on, I asked her what she was doing and she looked at me with her beautiful green eyes, her wonderful smile and replied "uh-oh... daddy did it"!!!!!!

You are extremely loving and patient and obviously a fit mother if that incident brings you laughter and delight.

Well...
When my wife was pregnant with what would turn out to be my son, she was having tea with a also pregnant neighbour, who also had a daughter about the same age as mine.
So my daughter gets inquisitive.
"So I came out of Mom's belly?"
"Yes."
"And Sarah (the neighbour's daughter) got out of her Mom's belly?"
"Yes."
So my daughter looks at me, and my rather round belly.
"And when will I get my brother?"
You can't beat children's logic! ;D

Whilst thinking about other things that my micro beast has done... I remembered one of my favourite things that a child has said.... Again you can't beat a child's logic.... the conversation took place when I was about 7 months pregnant.
Child - "You're getting fat" (love the sensitivity!!)
Me - "That's because there is a baby growing in my tummy" (explain calmly and ensure child understands)
At this point the child seemed relatively happy and satisfied with my answer to his statement. Then he looked at his mum and said (he was 5 at the time)
Child - "Is there a baby growing in you bum then mummy?"
I had to leave.....

I remember, when my sister was about 2 years old (and didn't know how to express herself too clearly yet), she woke up in the middle of the night saying "I want to be with Daddy!" So Dad got up, starting cradling her. She then said "I want to be with Mommy!" So Dad went back to the room, woke up Mom, handed baby sis to Mom. As soon as he started heading back for bed, she calls out "I want to be with Daddy!" In the end, Dad and Mom ended up just standing in front of each other, and when my sis would say "I want to be with Daddy!" Mom would hand her to Dad. And then when she'd say "I want to be with Mommy!" Dad would hand her back to Mom. This continued for the space of about 30 minutes, after which she finally fell asleep.
(A few years later, she explained to us that what she wanted to say was "I want to be with Daddy AND Mommy!") ;D

Another daily classic from the world of my micro beast....
Took her to see my mum today..... Everything was running well until my mum said the beast NEEDED lunch.... she had lunch before we left but my mother insisted that the beast had to eat! So the doting grandmother makes lunch and asks the beast if she wants "dippy sauce" (AKA ketchup/tomato sauce).... Sydney starts nodding like that dog from the insurance company advert! Stupidly, my mother left the bottle of "dippy sauce" within reach of Sydney's little hands.... She had turned her back for literally 30 seconds, and in this time, Sydney had redecorated the table, the chair and the floor.... This wouldn't have been a problem because it can be cleaned up..... unfortunately, my mum's cat is not so happy about needing a water bath after her ketchup bath!

Obviously the micro beast is an ardent watcher of ALF and knows that cat is best served with ketchup...

Sydney AKA the Micro beast has done it again.....
Today whilst doing our daily drawing session, the beast noticed that mummy has been drawn on a few times (I have 5 tattoos) and decided in her infinite wisdom that one of my tattoos was not up to her standard, so she grabbed hold of her crayons and decided to try and colour me in!!!! Thankfully, crayons don't work on skin because if they did, I could advertise rainbows!!!

Thankfully, crayons don't work on skin...
Rest assured that the micro beast will take up this technological challenge!
While in the test phase you will find traces of experiments - on any conceivable surface... ;D

I'm certain there is nothing left but this is THE Lord of Terror and who knows what she is capable of!

Not entirely..... it's bad enough that I live in rented accommodation and have a vile pink bathroom suite..... now it's got multi-coloured crayon lines everywhere!!!!!!
But, I think she may have stopped decorating now...... she has taken to eating the crayons instead!!!!!

Hey... I think you might want to get organic or some of those child-friendly crayons instead. Eating all those crayons can't be good for her health.

I always thought a midnight snack was meant to be something you liked, not something you choked down just for the hell of it!!!!! She is such a weird little kid!!!!! But completely gorgeous!!!!! See..... I told you!!!!!
