I got it! And I'm working on it now! ;D It's a Dell Studio 15, with a new Intel i7 processor, 4gigs of RAM and an ATI Radeon graphics card with 512mb RAM. Got it for about 950 euros with a discount of 400 euros...which is great ;D I like this thing!

I'm using the Studio XPS 16. It's a very nice machine, except for the keyboard. It's a nice wide keyboard, but has a habit of double-tapping or missing taps. But that aside, it's a very nice machine.

The only thing I am missing is a numpad because it's a 15'. But it's nothing I won't get used to.

It's not on the 16' either. Also, being a software developer, I'm missing the Break key too!

This laptop had also a quite irritating default setting for the F-keys. Instead of the normal function setting, it used the multimedia setting as default (e.g. battery status, volume controls, brightness etc.). So if I wanted to press F1 I had to press the fn-key with it. Closing a programme needed the alt+fn+f4 combination instead of the normal alt+f4. Lowering the screen brightness just needed the f4 on the other hand. Very irritating because that's not the usual function and I had to change it in the BIOS...

I'm glad you could change it. That'd be highly irritating.

Congrats Hildor! That's a good buy, in this country laptops are incredibly expensive (since they get them from Singapore)... To get a laptop in the future, I'll probably ask one of the FCI volunteers in Jakarta who goes to Singapore for Visa Trips to get it for me (give him the money first, of course). ;D
