The 40 year old chimp Dorothy is no more. But what more is, when the caretaker took her in his wheelbarrow to her last resting place, the entire chimpanzee family came to the funeral. Normally a loud group of chimps, but this time they were all quiet, giving each other support and showing their last respects to Dorothy. It shows once again how close chimps are with us. (and no one has to mention that they were dressed according to the occasion )

They are very moving... I remember reading or seeing a documentary about chimps in captivity like that living grief and disease together, and it's hard not to shed tears so much we can feel close.
