What do you think are the best new tech toys to come out in the Noughties?
For me, it has to be DVDs and high speed internet connections, but I am a man of simple tastes.
What are YOUR favourite tech toys of the new millennium so far?

Clearly this: the Light Saber Umbrella! Because A) I tend to forget my umbrellas in dark places and B) I tend to get overlooked crossing the streets and C) because it's terribly geeky and I just love that ;D

I would love to get something like the Roomba. It's some sort of robotic house-cleaning machine.

We've got one and it's really good, though the battery needs replacing now (after 16 months)

My favourite toy has been the iPhone. It just works well. It introduced me to podcasts and audiobooks. Sure, Apple keep a stranglehold on things, but I'm really not missing much. The iPhone and Wii have taught me a lot about interface design and how people really interact with computers.

Yep, Roombas are sweet... We got together to give that to my mother a year or 2 ago; that was a way to give the gift of time. Now if they could combine the vacuum cleaner, floor-washer and lawnmower ones together, that would be top.
