Dr Who: The Adventure Game

When this is released (In a series of episodes) it will be free to download from the BBC. No-one has yet mentioned availability to an international audience, but given the popularity of The Doctor worldwide, it's reasonable to assume anyone who wants it should be able to get it.

Given that it's The Doctor, it's likely to be a true adventure game (IE lots of puzzle solving, no combat).

Nice! But I'm fairly sure this will be a UK only thing. I've tried accessing special features at the BBC site before, only to be blocked as I'm not in the UK. If I'm wrong, than it's all the better!

Hopefully we'll know on compatibility soon enough. I'm really curious about this game now. It seems like they're putting effort into making this feel like an episode of Doctor Who, and not just a throwaway adventure game. Fingers crossed for this to be an international experience, since I want to get my hands on this.

Could be British-only, I guess (and fear). The BBC has for example some videos online, parts of documentations or what it was, I don't quite remember it anymore, which was restricted to GB users. I assume they sought it out from my IP adress.

I think they'd be very short sighted not to allow for all The Doctor's international fans (And lovers of Adventure games generally!) but that's no guarantee, of course. What I hope will happen is that they will get several places to host the games, which will certainly mean international fans will be able to download the games.

There's been no announcement I am aware of yet, though. I'll let you all know when/if there is
