OK, guys, I want to know your plans for Christmas. So tell. ;D As for me, my family will be spending Chrismas with family and friends. Chris and I have friends from college spending Christmas with us. They will be here through New Year's. We're going caroling Christmas Eve, then back at home we'll gather around the fireplace with hot chocolate, sing some more, and Chris will read the "Night Before Christmas" to the kids, and they will put out cookies and chocolate milk, and coke for Santa before going to bed. Then when everyone is in bed, sometime during the night Santa will come, leave the kids presents and eat his cookies and drink his chocolate milk and coke. Christmas Day the kids will find their presents from Santa waiting for them when they get up Christmas morning. Sometime mid morning our best friends here will come over and we will all have breakfast together. After breakfast, we will share gifts and just have fun. Around 2:00 to 3:00, we will have Christmas lunch and spend the rest of the day and night just having fun together playing with the kids, trying out any new games they get, singing Christmas carols, and anything else we can squeeze into the day that will be fun for all of us.

I might sit around and say, "Bah, humbug." or I might sit around and say nothing at all. I might spend it at home alone with my wife doing what we usually do on a day off, except that we will have lasagna. I might have my in-laws over--including Poppy Fey. My son might also come by.
edit: My wife makes very good lasagna. And excellent pizza--from scratch. And man oh man can she bake! Oopa! The best baker pizza maker in the world!

Well because of so many different conflicted schedules Christmas Day, we're opening presents Christmas Eve.
On Christmas Day, I'll be at the Dolphins/Jets games. 8:30pm Eastern on ESPN, so everyone watch us kick the crap out of the Jets!!!

You're just a scrooge, and as usual won't admit it. You never take credit for anything. Thanks Shan for the Christmas time line. All my neices and nephews are to old or live to far away, to appreciate Christmas. I have one nephew in Victoria who is thirteen now, but he is spoiled rotten. I have a neice in Kamloops who just turned one, and she wouldn't even know what is happening if she got presents. I am considering what Elly mentioned, hopefully playing a new computer game.

I, like Elliot, will be doing my best not to be run over by Uncle Joe, have my picture taken with every one of the my aunts, and my Grandmother, and if I'm lucky, not have a single cousin touch ANY of my guitars or wrestling belts...worth more then their education, darnit! ;D Really, though. It should be a long and interesting day. Cooking preparation begins today. In my family...every year one family comes forth to have the Christmas celebration at their house. Somehow, my Mom decided it wouldn't hurt to do it two years in a row. Mainly because this will be our first year with Lisa with us. Not to mention new additions to the other bits of the family, the total count should be about 28 people. Not to mention the immediate family. If anybody wants to come over this year, I think we've already reached our danger limit, so feel free to continue to test the limits before the windows shatter. ;D Merry Christmas to all and to all....well ya know.

Does this mean we're all invited to BJC's house for dinner this year? Woohoo!

Hmm - the most tempting would be Mrs Cleglaws cuisine... I'll be visiting the clan matriarch, who has 'ordered' all generations to gather at the clan residence (That's my mother, and means my daughter and grandson will be coming also) - as I'm by now the clan patriarch, I cannot refuse (but my mother's cuisine isn't half bad either ) * - I'll be stuffed!*

I'll be spitefully ignoring almost everyone as I sit there and mumble about how this is just a renamed Roman Holiday with next to no good visable qualities, and has been a complete waste of time.

Btw, in Denmark it's the tradition to open presents on the eve of the 24th. How is it with other European Cascaders? It's the same here Pete, we start with the soup or the apitizers and then we open some presents, then we eat some more, open some more presents etc... ;D
I'm gonna spend christams eve with my hubby and son, we ordered food from the store where I work (since we already had Yule night) and then we will go to my dad and have Cous-Cous (a Morrocon dish) with the rest of my family

Allright It's midnight and christmas eve is over here and what a great night it was. Food was good, the presents was overwhelming to say the least and it was a nice evening. Now my parents are going to bed so I'm going to surf the net for a bit. The next two days will be fairly quiet. Usually the family comes around for christmas lunch on the 26th but for some reason it's postponed to the 27th this year. It kinda sucks since I had hoped to get back to my place that day, but what the heck. Anyway - I hope all you Europeans who celebrated christmas tonight had a great one and a merry christmas to those who celebrate tomorrow

I went to my dads for Christmas day, and a bunch of my family came over too including the Morrocon family. But the mom was a bit ill, so she didn't cook, instead we went for Chinese. I got the most pretty notebook with the tale of King Arthur and Avalon in and a lavender bathset. Finally I can take a bath again ;D I had such a great time with my family, my brother even proposed to his girl and she said yes!! I saw people who didn't see me for 10 years and the first thing they said was...you lost weight, you're so skinny now like I was ever really fat ;D
I hope you all had such an amusing day as I did, I certainly enjoyed it!
