Sounds a lot like my mother in law ;D
Something funny and a little bit annoying happened on my work too. A customer wanted 3 slices of smoked bacon, not too tick and not too thin. So I cut off a slice, and showed it to her, it was about 5 mm thick. That was too thick for the lady, so I sliced off a new one, she wanted it a wee bit thinner, so this time I cut off about 4 mm of the bacon. Still too thick for her taste, I kept slicing bacon off, untill I had slices that were as thin as the ones we sell on a regular base, precut bacon 1mm. And to know she wanted the bacon to cut in little squares for her soup St.Germain
