Why the people at Proboards, are asses

The update didn't go through, and we'll be shut down again, because of extreme incompetence and laziness.

That irritates me. A LOT.

I can understand being frustrated about the forum being down. I wasn't thrilled to lose the better part of a day of posting with no upgrade.

Still, to be fair to Proboards, there might be a technical reason for this that I haven't been made aware of. There's not much we can do about it anyway.

On the bright side, we have the forum up and working as of right now. It'll be even better once we finally get the upgrade. In the long run, all will be well.

For now, best we can do is put up with the annoyance and be happy with what we have. We have a working board. That's better off than we were the other day.

Actually, the reason why the forums never got updated was a few key people didn't feel up to it. So they closed servers 21-27, for NO REASON, as no progress was made.

From what I've read of the upgrades, this minor annoyance will be soon forgotten once we get the Proboards Version 4 in place.

It has a ton of good new features

Actually, I find almost all of the features superfical. And for my own board, its going to eliminate almost all of the coding that myself and the other administrator have put into it, and effectively neuder our ability to customize the board.

So, for you it might be fine, for myself and my associate, it is a huge step backwards.

Infact, if we didn't already have the bulk of my RPG, thousands of pages on it, we would probably be packing up and leaving over this.
