I started on Servant of the Dragon, the third book in the Lord of the Isle series by David Drake.
But I haven't gotten very far because Will is pushing me to listen to the Harry Potter tapes...

I'm getting much farther into Servant of the Dragon now that I finished Harry Potter, and I need some escape from the hecticness that is my life.
I'm highly enjoying it and recommend the Lord of the Isles series by David Drake to anyone who likes good fantasy stories.

I finished Servant of the Dragon last week. It was very good. But I think I'll take a break before reading the next one. It's a long read.
Yesterday I bought some books that Will recommended - and I finished the first book in one night, I just couldn't put it down! It made me laugh out loud so many times. I still can't believe I like romance novels, or that Will's the one who's suggested them to me. @_@
But anyway, I'm on the Key Trilogy by Nora Roberts. I started the Key of Light around 10 pm last night and finished it at 2:30 this morning. I think I'll wait a bit to start the next one, just in case I can't put it down.
I want to read Vampie Hunter D book 2, but I also read the first one of that in one night, couldn't put it down either. So I guess I'll be turning to my comics for the upcoming work week just to make sure I get some sleep! @_@

Bought and started reading George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones, something one of my ex-girlfriends had recommended to me in the past.
It was also recommended by our newest member Lews. Hope you're happy bud. ;-)

Out Of The Darkness by Harry Turtledove. Latest (And, I think, last) in a series of fantasy war novels where the plot somewhat echoes the events of WW2. Rather good

Right now I'm finishing Paris - 1919 by Margaret MacMillan. It's a book documenting the peace negotiations after ww1. Very interesting stuff After that I'm trying out a book by Brad Meltzer. It's called Dead Even and I only got it because I wanted to read a book by the identity Crisis writer - yep that's him. Plus it was dirt cheap. Further down the line there's Ragnarok (the book that inspired the incredible movie "Der Untergang") by Joachim Fest and a book about the Gulags in the former Soviet Union. Both are presents from my parents and currently at their house

How Few Remain by Harry Turtledove. I've had a rare (For these days) run of finding new novels I'm interested in, which is a good thing

Hitler's Shadow War (The Holocaust and World War II) by Donald M. McKale "McKale contends that the war itself was the direct result of Hitler's racial hatred and was eventually used as a veil behind which Hitler implemented and masked his genocidal ambitions" In other words, Hitler started the war to get rid of the Jews, only disguised the Holocaust under the war so no one would know his real motive for starting it... A well researched book and an amazing read...
