Promise of the Witch King, by R. A. Salvatore. The long overdue second book of the Sellswords series. I've waited for this book for far too many years. So far, it's starting off well. Of late, I'm far more interested in the unlikely duo of Jarlaxle and Artemis Entreri than I've been in Drizzt.

The Chronicles Of Narnia. Seeing the film trailer made me remember how much I enjoyed them as a kid

Ragnarok by Joachim Fest (I have no idea what it's called in the US) on which the incredible movie "Der Untergang" is based.
It's sad, you know, everytime I go to a bookstore I get an urge to buy almost the whole damn secion on ww2.
I am branching out, though. I'm looking for material on ww1 and The Soviet Union under Stalin, preferrably related to either the person Stalin or the Gulags.

I'm finally reading the fourth book of the Harry Potter series, because I want to be able to watch the movie too eventually.
And that's good to hear you're enjoying it, Steve. I haven't started it yet actually.

Ah, I wish my set of Narnia wasn't boxed up in storage. I've been itching to read it too.
I'm currently listening to the Cleric Quintet by R.A. Salvatore with Will. He gets books on tapes from the Talking Book Library and he got the whole Clerc Quintent - something like 13 tapes, 26 sides. Anyway, I'm in the middle of the first book. I'm a slow listener - I don't absorb too well by listening. Will went ahead and is on the second book already, but he can listen at a faster speed.
On my own, I'm reading Vampire Hunter D novel 2 and it's so enthralling! I'm sure if I let myself, I could read it nonstop like the first book, but I have way too much to do now. I think it'll take me another week or two to finish it.

I finished Vampire Hunter D vol 2 and the first book of the Cleric Quintet. So now I'm onto the second book of the Cleric Quintet.
I've also started Once Upon A Castle, an anthology of magical short romance stories by various authors. It's pretty good so far.

I liked the thief of time more, but going postal is still *very* good, as usual with a slow beginning, ans a furious finale at the end (where else ?) .

I like everything with Susan in it, I must admit. She's easily one of his best characters
