Finished the Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore. Got it for Christmas, so it took em a couple fo weeks to finish. It was excellent.
Still listening to the Cleric Quintet by R.A. Salvatore, I'm nearing the end of the second book.
And I started up The Last of Renshai by Mickey Zucker Reichert. I really liked his BiFrost Gaurdian series, so I'm hoping this one's good too. So far so good.

Star Wars : Republic Commando : Hard Contact. Good novel, because it shows so many different views.

I'm currently reading a Dutch book by Otto Preusler "Meester van de Zwarte Molen" (master of the black mill) It's about 12 boys and black magic. It's a youthbook though, but I still like most of my books that I read in my youth.

Durung my ear infections (which are now totally gone) I read the book "Hard Contact", a Star Wars novel. It's a good book with an interesting insight on how the Clones actually think & feel. I felt rather pity for the very, *very* obviously emotionally overloaded abandoned female Jedi Padawan. I liked the book also just because it wasn't about the main characters. I think I'll try to get hold of a copy of the SW novel "Ruins of Dantooine" in the next months.

I'm reading the Elfquest novelization right now by Wendy and Richard Pini. Found it at a yard sale for 54 cents.... I figured it was time I read it.

I got into the Mars series by Kim Stanley Robinson and currently have about the half of Red Mars (first of 3) read. I like it, and I'm not such fan of science fiction books usually. It focuses a lot on the human level, and I like how the dimension changes according the the individual characters.

I finally started "The Da Vinci Code"! Hooray! I'm very curious why no one opened a discussion thread about the book before? Was the book that lame or didn't have anyone had the need to discuss the theory? Anyway, let me know guys!

Gal, feel free to start one if you wish. I read Da Vinci Code a year or two ago... it's good, though I didn't find it extraordinary. There is lots of interesting stuff in it that most people discover for the first time, plenty enough for discussion. And opinions on the matter are always interesting. Currently re-reading The Pilgrimage () by Paulo Coelho; will post a thread on him soon. I also began to read artist Ursula Vernon's comic Digger. Very funny; that woman's comments anywhere, where she comments her works or herself, are jewels of silliness, refreshing. I want to make a thread of her works too. *the girl is subtly putting bits of her to-do list on forum not to forget* ;D

Was the book that lame or didn't have anyone had the need to discuss the theory? Anyway, let me know guys! Ky, the book was discussed pretty well, interesting stuff, but try as I might, rebrowsing the Humanology Thread (where I am pretty sure it was), I could not see it this morning..It is there, I know, but if you have anything to add or ask, start another one...we need some new stimuli...no-one is addressing Israel's little war either? So I guess I will start one.. ;D

I've finished two good books by Tom Clancy lately and had no luck in finding any other at a reasonable price. So instead I bought two cheap Grisham paperbacks - A time to kill and The partner. So far I am well into "A time to kill" and it's pretty good so far. So thanks to BJC who once told me I'd like Grishams books. Oh - and I haven't seen the "A time to kill" movie. Reading the book first is the best way to go - as always

The subject was tempting in it's nature for sure, I'm not influenced easy enough by a novel, except "Chilhoods End" or "Brave New World"to worry if it's true.
