I'm reading "The Clan Of The Cavebear" by Jean M. Auel. It's a very interesting book, there is a movie about it too, but not half as good as the book. A lot of things are overlooked, like details why someone did this or that. Without the book, you would have no clue at all. This book is defenitly a keeper.

Have bought "Glennkill" this week. It's a German book about crime, murder and - sheep ! We call it a "sheep whodunit" here. (Actually, the word is "Krimi", which is a shortened form of the word "Kriminalgeschichte", which means "criminal story" and has the same sense as, you know, whodunit stories.) It's this one : Glennkill

A Danish book called Signe. It's a novel based on the real life experiences of Signe Gondrup who fell in love with a wehrmacht officer during WW2. In the book we follow Signe in the last months of the war when she moved in with the officer and his children in Böhmen and their eventual escape to Bayern and what follows in the months afterwards. So far it's a okay book, if a bit bombastic in language. But interesting

A friend of mine gave me a reading challenge. See, he's taking some extra courses to help with his becoming a teacher, and apparently theres this course on literature for children that he is taking.
You can take this challenge too, if you like. Okay, here it is: Read: Treasure Island Little Women The Pilgrim's Progress Amish Adventure King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table Robinson Crusoe and a bunch of fairy tales.
Do it in a month. Have fun. ^^
And remember, read it well enough to have been able to do a test on it weekly.
