Nice book, good story, my favorite character in the book was Jo
I'm reading Birdman from Mo Hayden. Good book, allthough you need a strong stomac to handle the well described murders

And I am now going back to Raymond E Fiest, to re-read Talon of the Silver Hawk and then to carry on with the rest of the series which i am a bit behind on(2 yrs ). But at least it means i don't have to wait for the next book to be printed...I've already got it

Reading book 2 of the Harry Desdon Files by Jim Butcher - really enjoying the series a lot. I may even get the DVD set of the first season when it comes out. I'm curious as to how it translated to a TV series. From what I've been told, the TV series uses the characters and world, but tells new stories not in the books.

A friend of mine gave me a reading challenge. See, he's taking some extra courses to help with his becoming a teacher, and apparently theres this course on literature for children that he is taking. You can take this challenge too, if you like. Okay, here it is: Read: Treasure Island Little Women The Pilgrim's Progress Amish Adventure King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table Robinson Crusoe and a bunch of fairy tales. Do it in a month. Have fun. ^^ And remember, read it well enough to have been able to do a test on it weekly. Killerzzz Whoops, I forgot to add in The Secret Garden as one of the books to read. As of yesterday, I finished them all. I gotta say I really liked them all, except for Pilgrim's Progress, which got pretty preachy. Poor Ignorance! Killerzzz

That's kind of the point of Pilgrim's Progress, Killerzzz ;D
I read it a while back as a historical curiosity, and in that spirit rather enjoyed it.

I just read a very great and short book, called "Being there"
It's written by some polish dude who's family suffered many casulities in the WW-II, think only 2 survived besides him. Anyhow, he writes great, the book is amazing, for us who aren't ExpertZ in English, it's also the appropriate quantity of difficult words and complex grammar.
For me this book was read in study-purpose, a have-to-do for my English course, and it suited my English skills perfectly.
/recommend!

I'm now going to start reading IT, by Stephen King. This book is supposed to be one of his most sanity-testing, or so they say. Lets find out. (not that anyone would notice if I became any less sane ) It'll take me a while to read (get it? IT ? hardy-har-har, me so funny ) because I'm once again busy for a while, but I'll get'er done eventually. Killerzzz

Homicide A Year On The Killing Streets It is a true story of a year that a reporter spent with the Baltimore police homicide squad written by David Simon. This book spawned 2 TV shows--Homicide Life on the Streets, and The Wire. It is a good book if you are interested in how a real homicide squad operates.

I'm currently reading "Es war einmal ein Schiff" ("Once upon a time there was a ship" - very rough translation made by me), which is a book on "maritime archaeology". Ships, and ports, and sea-trade, and of course the Vasa. It's an really interesting expansion to my archaeology knowledge (this is actually my greatest hobby), because it puts light on a field I don't know much about. I boight it last Sunday on a flea market, and it was a real bargain, because i got it for 7 Euros - they originally wanted 10 - and it is from this year !

I finished Catan in three days, such a great book, I always regrett when the book is done
Now reading "The People of the Wolf" by W.Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear. Part one of a serie of 12 books (sorry, 15 books, but the last three books are not translated yet) . It's about the first tribes that lived at the end of the ice age, at the doorstep of a new age.

I am reading two books... A simple relaxing one - funny also - "Skin Tight" by Carl Hiaasen, and my good one.. - "A Year With Dietrich Bonhoeffer" He was executed by the Nazis in 1945 at the age of 39.. His contributions to Christian thought should NEVER be underestimated... (my opinion.. )
