Venom, would you really want your team to dominate everything because your owner is a Russian oil-billionere with some shady ways of running buissness? Not to mention Chelsea's filosofy of playing... Übereil While I certainly don't condone shady business practices, winning is everything. We have a team with an uber rich owner who likes to try and buy championships. They're called the Yankees.... turns out money can't always buy you happiness in sports.

I'd say so Tragic, yeah. And though I hate to say so... I hope it's United. Chelsea shouldn't win it again for a year or two. Makes the League interesting if no-one knows who will win before it starts

It looks like Liverpool will be bought by the world's fifth richest man. The startingfunding will be £450 millions, where 200 will go to a new arena (bye bye Anfield ), 80 will go to debts, and Benitez will get to play with the rest. Apparentlly the new owner will only be a financier (unlike a certain Roman...), but still... Übereil

I kinda prefer Roman's attitude. At least he has an active interest in and obvious love of his team, which you really should want in a club owner.
Someone just throwing money around with no interest at all is kinda cold... I wouldn't want West Ham bought by someone who couldn't care less about them, I know that much.

West Ham 1 Man U 0
Well, I gotta love that result! Totally unexpected, too. I was just telling myself there was no way in heck WH stood the faintest chance, with Curbishley only being appointed manager a few days ago. Just goes to show...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO(catches breath)OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done West Ham, but what happened to our 100% solid defence (of cause four things had to go wrong at once for anyone to beat it, but still...) and our swift attacking game? Übereil

The WH goalkeeper got in the way of your attacking game. A lot. Must be his best game ever.
As for your defence... Well, WH have a pretty good attack. And probably a bit of luck, too ;D

The WH goalkeeper got in the way of your attacking game. A lot. Must be his best game ever. If Ronaldo's shot... well, Ronaldo's only good shot had been a tiny bit better, and if Giggs had gotten that left shot on goal (instead of really hard high over the bar) we'd won. Robert Green wasn't extrodinary. Sure, he made some good saves, but he didn't get anything really difficult to handle (apart from Ronaldo's shot... I mean good shot, which he handled really well, but a better placed strike from Ronaldo...). Übereil

If WH had converted a couple more chances, we could have won 3-0. Sadly, it didn't happen! ;D

What chances?
(OK, Zamoras break, but that was a great save by VDS, read Zamoras finnish superblly. And possibly Harewood's shot in the first, but we had more and better longshots than that...)

Well United losing does make things interesting.
Chelsea still seem to ground out results...usually winning from long range efforts. Lets see how far it will get them.
But its still between those 2...Pool should finish third ;D

Chelsea's luck finally ended!! an own goal??? HAHAHAHAHA. Bad news for Pool is we lost I cant beleive we have lost 6 games already...God this is one of the worst seaons we have had in a while. I hate Mancheser United. If they dont sustain any injuries they will win the title.

Chelsea: brag, brag, strut, strut, slip on banana skin! ;D That'll teach them to play football rather than waste time boasting about what they are going to do ;D

It wasn't just Reading, since they've won the two games before with 3-2 thanks to goals on overtime... God, they really miss Cech and Terry, since their main strenght is their defence . And Ronaldo is on fire for the moment... Übereil

We have sbscribed to Sky so I get to see some more football than usual ;D
Chelsea are plaing like they dont want to play. I saw the Aston Villa game yesterday..frankly it was boring.
United have the hunger but they too concede way too much.
Well things are a bit more interesting...6 points gap at the top and the chasing pack 8-9 points off Chelsea althougth Third place is the best we have to hope for.
