I just want to clarify how many globes we have down. Loriana took down 3, two of which have been broken. Rasidar took down 4?
We should at some point get more down, but we'll want to have everyone try to get some down so that no one person is completely drained.
I have made a make-shift carrying belt for the globes. I'm thinking of using them as missile weapons, but not sure if just throwing them qualifies as a missile weapon or if I need to make a slingshot. Either way, my character would want to get several down for backup ammo and fill the belt with as many that will fit and not cause the belt to break/fall down.

I took down four, Sarah, yes. One of which I handed over to Ash. I'd prefer not to take any more for now. I took as many as I did because it's what Rasidar would do, being the selfless and self-sacrificing Paladin that he is. So if you want to keep him from depleting too much Mana... I really suggest you grab the globes while he's off with Ash.

They will work for throwing on their own, Silva, being both large and heavy enough. I'll actually give you the stats here, as there's no real reason not to.
Count as missile weapon. Can throw 2/rnd for 2 dam. Half of them will be recoverable after use, as they are tough and hard to break.

Cedric can take some down - he has no use for his mana right now - lets say 6 for 30 mana

Elliot, could we make rudimentary slings with blanket bands?

@ EK -> Spot Hidden doesn't include seeing in darkness, right? heck, i should have put in that skill (see in the dark). i know it's already too late to change skills but i wonder & like to ask for future RPG sessions, since we have skills oriented towards eyes, movement - how about nose? as in can smell or identify scents.

It's not too late to change until we open that door, Jang. As long as we haven't used a skill in the game yet, anyway.

LOL@Elliot; I had to read the post twice to catch what you ment but it was a funny one ;D About the globes; thrown with a blanket sling, would the attack/damage be the same? Edit: Ah crap; for once that I read the commentary on time, the answer's in the story thread.

i don't know if i should forgo Use Dagger Skill for a skill that i think my character should have as mentioned in my earlier post. if everyone is ok with it, i would like to be a non-combat support member of the team.

Jang - It's up to you and what you want your character to be. Just make sure to decide before we leave this room.

Do whatever you think makes sense for your character, Jang. It's all good.

A note - I edited my last post for Mao to accompany Ash & Rasidar; they posted while I wrote... and janggut while I edited

hey, it's ok, Fille. let me read yours & see what i can edit of mine to make it uniform. @ mr Grey & Sarah -> i guess i'll leave my character as is. no fair to change attributes just because things don't look so favourable. just do my best with whatever i have.

That's my sentiment Jang. I made my character very early in the whole process and while I've contemplated changes, I want to see how this character does with what she has.

u know what? i contemplated weaknesses for my character when i was in the creation process. in a way i was inspired by the game Freedom Force, a semi-RPG of sorts, which u can introduce weaknesses to your character & in return, u get more points to spend on your character. anyway, Freedom Force is a superhero tactical semi-RPG.

Freedom Force - what system is that for, or is it a pen & paper game?
I've heard of that type of system before (weaknesses for bonuses), though have never had the chance to play one.

no, it's a computer game. then we never know, that aspect (weakness for bonus) might be useful in our future RPGs. maybe EK can find a way to implement it in some other RPG.

Glance - please post actions in the main story thread. Thanks I would, if they were actions - here it was not intended as an action but a response to Steve saying he doesn't want to drain his char's mana. It was a suggestion - to be implemented later in the game. I work under the assumption that NOTHING is an action UNLESS posted in the story/game thread.
