hehe... thanks ya'll... ya making me blush... I am very happy with how they turned out. It was quite an interesting experience. None of the early shots were really good. He started us out in the studio - of which only 2 shots made it into the final cut (the ones with backgrounds). The rest were in his backyard. We got a lot more comfortable outside. One, it was cooler. Two, we had gotten used to him and the camera. Anyone got any favorites? Here are mine: 1. When we were laughing at something, can't remember what, but this wasn't a planned shot: ROFL2. When I was precariously crouching behind Will and leaning over him. The photographer got one good shot, but while he was clicking away at the second, my knees gave way and I started to fall onto Will: Lean on Me3. The Jeep shots because it's just so dang funny. Will looks so natural in the driver's seat, but anyone who knows him knows that's the closest he'll ever get to driving (he's legally blind). And we joked around that the photo looks like something out of a movie: I'm a Movie StarI've got a hot chick to pick up!4. The sunset shots. 'nuff said. Looking Forward Together

Great pics, Sarah! And yes, sometimes a good photographer will change the scenery to encourage more genuineness and raise the comfort level. Looks like it obviously worked in you guys' case. You two look good with each other. Hehe on the Lean on Me pic - it's funny how awkward poses sometimes can turn out to be the best ones. Of course, it's because you can't help but express genuine emotions.

They are all so good that it is hard to pick favorites. I guess my favorite is the one you linked as ROFL. You guys look so cute in that one and that you have alot of fun together. Then for a more posed look I like the one number as eng09 and the one you linked as I'm a movie star. In those two you look as if you were made for each other. May God richly bless the both of you and happinessness be yours always. Shan

Glad ya'll liked them - it was a lot of fun, once we got outside. The photographer was quite funny. His name is Skip Matthews. Here's his website: www.smdsphotography.comWill's legally blind, not completely. He can see well enough to get around, but still runs into things - he has blind spots. I'm still not exactly certain how it works, even though he's explained it to me several times. But his has little central vision and little peripherial (sp?) vision - so it's whatever is left between those. And his left eye is better, so I always walk on his right side to guide him. It was hard to get our eyes lined up in the shots, but the photographer quickly figured out that he'd tell Will to look in a general direction, say left, and then he'd get me look in the direction Will was looking - telling me more specific directions. It worked pretty well except when he forgot to do this - and it was amazing at how noticable it was. You could easily tell we weren't looking at the same thing. It's going to be interesting how the photos at the wedding go.

Silva you don't have to answer this if you don't feel comfortable with it, but is Will's eye sight due to an eye disease, genes, injury or what? Has he always had very bad sight? The photographer did a very good job of setting it up to look at if you guys were looking at the exact same thing. I would never have known you weren't. Is he making your wedding pictures too? Shan

hehe, Daredevil happens to be one of his favorite characters.
It's genetic and his eyesight deteriorated rapidly when he was a kid. He says it was very hard to go through. He had fine eyesight till he was 8, I think, and then it just got bad... he says it still get worse every year, it's just a lot slower deterioration now.
So why does he gets comics? He loved them so much as a kid, he doesn't want to give them up even though he needs someone to read them to him. And by gosh, one day I will! ^_^ ....though it'll probably take much more than one day. ^_~

Silva, I think you guys are two very special people. Will is lucky to have you and you are lucky to have him. If Will's sight problem is genetic, can it be passed on to your children? Sorry, if it seems I am to curious , but my husband's sister is married to a guy who has an eye condition that can be passed on. It is also one that may takes years to show up should they get it too. I don't remember the name of it, but his mom has it too and she is now consider legally blind. They say his will progress to this stage eventually too. Shan

I think it will be passed on... but I haven't broached the subject of kids yet, other than a general assent that we want kids in a few years. But I have significant health conditions as well, so I'm gonna talk to him about adopting if it looks bad for any children we might have naturally.

My eyesight also had a turn for the worse when I was 8 years old as well. Interesting how that works. (I wear contacts. It's not as bad as Will's, I'm just near sighted.)
