Mr Fantastic only makes #49? Ouch! Not that I'm sure I could dispute that, yet... Good find, SPS

It's an interesting list so far. I think we'll see when they get to the Top 10 or so. Always nice to see props given to Howard the Duck, though. Something to be said for a character so complex that only his creator ever got him right.

I wouldn't take that bet, Hec! I'm sure you're right! *** Anyone else find it bizarre that the Hood Ornament is Marvel's 15th most popular character? (Which is pretty much what the poll is). I wouldn't have expected him to be half that high...

Sure. But now? No. The Rise of the Silver Surfer made him a very popular character. People like him a lot. Hell, *I* like him a lot and I despised almost every second of that movie.

I guess it might explain Reed only making #59 too... ;D I expected him to be higher, and more closely grouped with the rest of the FF... Though he might be, I guess, as they are all conspicuous by their absence, so far. 3/4 of them in the top ten seems a bit unlikely... Doesn't it?

Who are absent so far? The only one missing is The Thing, which definitely is part of Marvel's Top Ten
